And now
a week later,
I’m back at school
Ready to face Rose,
without losing my cool
I walked through the halls
with my head held up high
Let people stare at me
As I walk on by
I looked around
for long red hair
Till I was informed
that for the last week
she hadn’t been there
Upon hearing the news
I almost fainted
Rose’s perfect attendance was no being tainter
Any normal person
would feel kind of glad
To see someone suffer
after hurting them real bad
But I’m no normal person
That much is true.
Just because she hurt me
Doesn’t mean I should hurt her too.
