Dylan Matthews.

"Thank you everyone for coming, have a nice day, I'll see you tomorrow." I said as the room started to empty.

"Professor Matthews."

"Yes? Oh Miss Press, how can I help you?" I asked.

"I was wondering if you could help me with some studies this weekend." She said sliding her hands up my chest and smirking at me.

I slowly took her hands off me. "I'm married Julie, I don't think so."

"Come on Matthews, everyone knows you fool around with your students, you screwed your high school student." She got closer to me to the part where I could feel her breath on my neck.

Her hands slid up again and wrapped around my neck gripping my hair.

"That student is now my wife." I said annoyed removing her hands off me and pushing her away. "Congratulations you just got yourself and F, and if you ever try something like this again you'll find yourself in the dean's office. Have a good day miss Press."

Her nose started to flare fire from anger and she walked away quickly without looking back and almost tripped on her own feet.

I sighed and continued packing up my stuff but stopped when I heard my phone buzz.

Pepperoni pizza baby.

It was from Katherine. I smiled to myself after reading it then put it in my pocket after replying.

Katherine was the best thing that ever happened in life, I never thought I'd be with someone like her, she was my student and now she's my wife and carrying our first child. That is the best thing I could ask for.

I swung my bag on my shoulder and walked out of the room and downstairs to leave when I noticed a student sitting under a tree with a book in hand. The book seemed familiar so I stopped to look closer. It was my book, the one I had written about that night.

That night. Memories rushed to my mind again and images of it flooded and spilled in front of my eyes. How it hurt to see the people I care for to this day get tortured like that, and now we're supposed to go back to that place and celebrate something that at the end brought nothing but bad into our lives.

The student looked up to me as if she sensed I was staring at her, she smiled softly, apologizing with her eyes for what she now knew had happened in my life, our lives. I nodded my head with a smile of my own then walked away to the parking lot.

I picked up the food then drove back home again and had dinner with my wife.

After that she went in the shower and I offered to do the dishes. When I was done, I wiped my hands on the cloth and was about to walk away when I caught a glimpse of the invitation. I picked it up and read it again for the hundredth time.

I sighed then nodded my head to myself.

"Okay, we're gonna do this."
