Katherine's POV
My navy blue dress clung perfectly to every part of my body. It complemented my big baby bump so beautifully that I couldn't even wipe the smile off my face as I stared at myself in the full-length mirror in my parent's guest room.
"You look gorgeous." Dylan said kissing my shoulder.
I smiled and turned around to cup his cheeks. I traced my fingers on his perfectly sculpted face and placed a soft kiss on his sharp jaw. I still can't believe it after all those years that he's mine. I don't think anyone loves someone as much as we love each other. He's not just my husband, he's my best friend my human diary my backbone, my everything.
"Damn I gotta handcuff you tonight." He said taking a look at me again.
I furrowed my brows and stared at him intently waiting for an explanation.
"Why?" I finally asked.
"So that no one can steal you away from me cause you look breathtaking baby."
My heart melted and dissolved into butterflies that flew into my stomach. He still makes me get butterflies, he still makes me blush and feel like a teenager every time he says something like that.
"With this baby right here, no one will look at me." I assured rubbing my belly.
"With these legs no one would notice that." He said while lowering his eyes down to my bare legs and bit his lip.
"Matthews." I gasped and hit him on the chest playfully.
"Come on we're gonna be late." He laughed and kissed me so passionately that almost knocked me off my feet.
After taking one more look at myself, I sighed, took my purse and followed Dylan downstairs to leave for the reunion.
When we arrived the others were already there and waiting for us to go in together. Everyone was looking so elegant and beautiful, the guys were looking very handsome in their suits and the girls looked stunning in their evening dresses.
"Finally." Jane said as she saw us walking towards them.
"Fashionably late? Or were you making another baby?" Brian said with a smirk.
"Shut up it was traffic." I said holding back a smile of my own.
"Traffic-" Brian wanted to continue but was interrupted.
"That's still my sister guys." Alain said shaking his head.
"Alright you guys let's do this." Ashley said looking at the decorated entrance of the school where people were walking in and out of.
Walking in pairs we marched towards the huge door blocking us away from painful memories we worked hard for years to forget. When we were finally inside we stopped to take a look around. The lockers, the hallways, the paint on the walls. Everything was still the same, nothing had changed. For the first time in a long time we walked down those halls again, when I looked at my friends all I saw was us in high school, at that point I hadn't realized how much we've changed until I saw us eighteen again.
Finally we arrived to the gym, where the party was being held. It didn't even look like a gym anymore it had turned into a party room and everyone in it stopped what they were doing and looked towards us. So we turned around to see what they were looking at only to discover that they were looking at us.
All eyes were on us, the people who were locked and tortured here are here, I could almost hear them think.
"You guys look like a fun gang. A photo to remember this moment?" The photographer asked approaching us.
