Chapter 18.

Katherine's POV

It was all there in front of us, but we still couldn't understand anything. How did all this happen? How could we have missed this?

"What do you mean she's not Skylar? Don't you see her?" Jane asked.

"We see her Jane, but I mean come on you were there, we were all there, she killed herself, we burried her. How could it be that it's her?" Brinn said.

"We never actually saw her killing herself, we never saw her body in that coffin. I mean look at her, it's her." Jane snapped.

"Jane, her parents saw her in that coffin, I think they would've said something if it wasn't her. Skylar is dead. She's not her." I calmly said.

"What does this mean?" Mason asked handing the files to Brian after looking through them.

"It means Skylar kept something from us, something worth knowing." Ashley said.

"You're not seriously suggesting that that's Skylar's sister or something?" Brian scoffed.

"Brian, look at her, they're identical, there's no other explanation." Brinn said.

"Hold that thought, I think we're about to find out, she's waking up." Hayden said walking closer to Skyl-whoever she is.

"Wakey wakey you little piece of shit." She said as she opened her eyes.

"Who are you?" Matt asked.

"Don't recognize me?" She asked with a smirk.

Hayden punched her making her fall backwards with the chair. Then she got her up and adjusted her before asking her the same question again.

"We have it all here, should I read?" Dylan asked. When she didn't reply, he continued. "Name Maya Johnson, birthday July 18th."

"Alright alright fine, you got me. I'm not Skylar." She said.

"Then why did you say you were?" Jane asked.

"I didn't, you just assumed and went with it, it was easier than telling you the truth." She said.

"Well now you don't have a choice so start talking." Hayden said.

"Who are you?" Brian asked.

Maya, it feels weird saying that when she has Skylar's face, took a deep breath, sighed and then started explaining.

"It all started before we-they moved here." She said.

"Who they?" Mason asked.

"My parents and Skylar. We were twins." She explained.

It had all started before Skylar moved here. Skylar was the only one we met after kindergarten, we all knew each other before, but she had just moved here when we started the second grade and that's how we met her.

They used to live in a small town before, we knew that, but apparently there were a lot of things we didn't. Like the fact that she had another psycho twin sister.

"Were were 5 years old when it happened. Skylar was always jealous of me, from my toys my dresses, that I got the pink stuff, and the simple things like how mom served me breakfast first before her. She was crazy, she always was crazy. It had happened before you know, one time she pushed me off the swing, I broke my leg and couldn't play for the entire summer, but mom didn't see her pushing me though, she thought I fell. But this time, she saw." Maya started telling us the story.

"Saw what?" I asked.

"Me pushing Skylar off a tree." She said.

"You did what?" Ashley asked.
