'Bill...he..he's here?' you thought.

You quickly ran down the stairs cautiously trying to avoid the biggest cracks. He was looking the other direction to you when you got down the stairs, so he didn't notice you there at first.

While he wasn't looking, you quickly walked towards him, pulled him in towards the centre of the room and slammed the door shut to confront him. He jumped a little and was still in shock from the quick events that just went past.

"What are you doing here?" You asked in a half-annoyed manner.

"I-uh." Bill sputtered out, not being able to think clearly. He shook his head.

"Well I came to see you, of course." He smiled.

You sighed, looked at the floor, then looked back up at him and managed to force a smile onto your face.

"Well, I can't say I'm not happy to see you at least. I just wasn't expecting you, is all."

Bill smiled again. "Oh, and I see you've received my gift." He pointed towards the T-shirt you were wearing.

"Ah, thats where it came from." You said looking down at it. "But, is that really all you came here for?"

Bill suddenly grew a worried and concerned look on his face as he turned his head to look towards the ground.

"Well-uh.." You crossed your arms and lifted an eyebrow at his struggle to get his words out.

"In all honesty, I wanted to see if you were okay. Not that I was really, really worried about you..BUT NOT that I don't WORRY about you all the time, I mean I love you come on but.."

You stopped Bill during his rambling because you couldn't understand a word he was saying.

"Bill, stop for a second..stop..stop..BILL STOP!"

He stopped talking and looked up to you.

"Just, calm down. And tell me what's going on. You're so incoherent when you ramble on like that."

"O-okay, sorry. Maybe the best way to tell you," he looked down at his hand, "is to show you."

At that moment, he put his hand on your shoulder and your mind was sent back through the years, through millions of memories, when finally, you reached the one he wanted to show you.

It was a memory of you, you had just gotten lost in the forest after moving into Gravity Falls a day prior. It was raining, there was a thunderstorm to be exact. You were only 5 at the time, so the memory was sightly faded, as if it had a blurred white outline all around it.
You had gotten lost because you wanted to explore the new town you moved to all by yourself, like a big girl, but soon you got lost in the woods, then the thunderstorm came and made matters worse. You were so scared that you found a little ditch in the ground near a log, where you sat down and began to cry.

But the weirdest part about all this was, yes you remembered it well, it was a key moment in your life, but you were viewing it from a third person's view. As this was all processing, you seen what had changed your life for the better, when this memory originally happened, years ago.

Then the memory started.

'Mommy? Daddy? Hello? I'm so lost... Somebody help.'

'I've been scrambling through and past trees for what feels like forever and I'm getting nowhere, I hope I find a place I recognise soon.'

Though you remembered this all sounds vividly, it was interesting to see it all happen again, outside of your own perspective.

The five year old you began tearing up as the thunderstorm started and she still couldn't find the way back home. That's when she found a little soft, mossy ditch in the ground, with a big log to block the rain, she felt safe for the moment being.

But even though she felt safe, that didn't stop her from completely breaking down into tears. She didn't know where her family was, where her house was, where her town was, or even where she was.

But when she thought all hope was lost, a rather tall man with a smooth, calming voice approached her and knelt down with an umbrella.

"Little girl, why are you crying?"

She looked up. The man was wearing a long, black trench coat and a black hat which made it hard to see his face.

"Are you alright? Are you lost?"

His voice was so kind and welcoming, that she stopped crying and began to talk.

"I-I came to this new town yesterday...I-I'm lost. Can you help me mister?"

"I'm sure I can sweety, come now." He put out his hand for her to hold and she stood up with him.

The man could hear two concerned voices shouting, just a short while away and began to walk with the young, scared girl towards the area where he heard the voices from. When they got out of the woods, the thunderstorm came calmly to a stop. The man seen two people, a man and a woman, shouting out your name.

As the rain stopped, the man turned around and gasped with his eyes wide open. He tapped the woman on the shoulder and she turned around quickly. When she noticed you, she sprinted over as fast as she could and wrapped her arms tightly around you in a hug that she never wanted to release from.

"Oh my baby, I'm so glad you're safe." She said with tears beginning to role down her cheeks.

The man quickly caught up and looked towards the man in the trench coat. "D-did you find her?"

"Yes sir, I found her. She was all alone in the woods, lost, by the look of it." The man put down his umbrella and took of his hat to reveal a full head of silky, golden hair, a bright smile and friendly eyes.

"Well, thank you so, very much." He said shaking his hand. The woman stood up and wiped the tears from her face.

"Yes thank you, there's no way we can thank you enough. Is there anything we can do for you?"

The man, who found you, put his hand up, "No, no, I just try to do my best. There's no need for you to give me anything."

The girl let go of the man's hand and walked around in front of him. She gestured him down towards her with her hand. He got down on his knee and leaned towards her. She moved her face towards his ear and whispered; "Thank you mister." He smiled and stood back up.

"I'm glad I could help you out, but I have to go now." He tilted his head, "I hope to see you again some time." He waved as he walked in their opposite direction and they waved back.

You were then taken back to the present moment and jolted as you came back.
