Out in the Open

The group of you, well more of a huddle to try keep warm, were walking down the road when you see giant, flashing lights blaring into the sky. You thought as you were turning the corner you'd see a giant circus tent reaching height into the sky. But no, it's just a fancy fair.

"So where to first?" Mabel said excitedly looking all around her.

"Well kids, I'm trusting you to stay together and stay safe. As for me, I'm going to a bookies."

Stan walked off leaving you, Wendy and the twins standing amidst the commotion of the fair. Mabel knew exactly where she was going and she knew she wouldn't take no as an answer. She grabbed Wendy's sleeve and squealed;

"Wendy come with me quickly I have to bring you to..umm....this place!!" It turns out that Mabel was bringing Wendy to a wood carving mini-tent. Mabel thought the both of them would enjoy it due to Wendy's lumberjack family and Mabel's creativity.

"So, umm. Dipper, I guess we'll be going around together since the girls ran off."

"Yeah, heh, ohh." He grasped the back if his hat, looked down feeling awkward and blushed.

"So where to?" You asked him.

"There's this great ring toss booth that I heard about."

"Sure, let's go there."

Unknowingly to you two, Bill was standing behind a wall glancing at you from afar. You turn around to his direction as you thought you heard something. But as fast as you turned, he disappeared.

You squinted a bit suspecting something but when you were sure nothing was there, you felt a tug on your dress.

"C'mon, are we going or not?" Dipper asked anxiously

"Yeah, yeah. Sorry, just thought I heard something."

You turn and start to walk alongside Dipper. Bill appeared behind you again and sneered, then he disappeared once again.

"So, ringtoss," you nervously began, "I don't think I've never tried it before."

Dipper stopped and stares at you, "Seriously?? Wow, we need to get there quicker so you can try it!!" Dipper grabbed your arm and his walk turned into a slight sprint.

"Woah, woah Dipper!" You hold onto your head, "Slow the heck down a bit!"

"No way! You need to try ringtoss as soon as possible!!" You could hear Bill's distant chuckles

"Alrighty then!" You gave into his pulling and ran with him dragging your sleeve. You passed and pushed your way through the many crowds of people.
You finally arrive at the booth and a big, middle aged man stood behind the counter and blurted,

"$1 for 2 rings, $2 for 5.."

Dipper put his hand on your stomach and slightly moved you back;
"Stand back, and watch the master do his work..."

"That master won't be doing much work, soon to come."

You tried to ignore Bill's "kind-hearted" words and enjoy yourself watching Dipper, probably, fail.
He handed the man $2,

"So, (Y/N), what plushy are you fancying?"
Dipper placed his elbow on the counter and leaned on it. He stared up towards you and flicked up his hat, then something happened.

He froze, not saying a word after you trying to communicate with him, the world around you went grey. You knew exactly what was happening.

"Haha, master? At what, messing up things? *murmured* like my plans?"
