Eventually getting to the athletic center, she get's out of her car and walks with the steady crowd into the building. Going through, she makes her way to the canteen stand was, were Tony; her boss was waiting for her.
"Hey, Amelia!" Tony yells to her, waving.
She waves back, "Hey Tony," she says, pulling her sleeves up, putting on her apron, and throughs some hot dogs and smokey's on the already hot grill.
"How have you been?" he asks.
"Good you," I respond and he shrugs.
"Don't have any complaints," he says getting back to setting up. She chuckles. Tony has always been a nice guy, and she was greatfull to him for giving her this job too.
After a number of customers, and two quarters, it was half time. Which meant a crowd of people and she would be greatly overwhelmed. Taking a breath, Tony and her go through the line up of people coming at them in swarms. As the people thinned out, she sighed and looked around.
Instantly she froze, Cheerilee and her other cheerleaders were heading in their direction. Amelia did what she could only do; she ducked out of sight.
They eventually passed, and she stood up, "You know. You won't be able to stand up to them and get past this if you just hide," Tony points out and she sighs.
"I know," she admits but she doesn't know how. She then goes back to work.
One more hour, one more then you can go home and do what ever you want, she thinks. Nodding her head a few times and goes back to cooking
One hour later, Tony let's her go and relief settles again on her shoulders from the immediate escape from the public eye. She rolls down her sleeves as she walks back to her car. Getting in, she does not pay attention to anything else other then driving home. When she finally gets back, she could hear the loud sound of the t.v. Knowing dad was probably watching the news, she did not want to disturb him; in doing so walks up the stairs quietly to her room to read a book.
She puts on her favorite pj's; sliding then onto her bed, she picks up her favorite book that she keeps on her bedside table. It was about a simple girl, who meets a boy in which later is known to her as her knight in shining armor; how rides her off into an adventure. But the girl won't discover it is him, until around the middle of the book. It never got old for me, I loved how it was written; right down to the letter.
"Hey Amelia! The hockey game is starting!" yells dad, a half a hour later.
"Coming dad!" I reply, putting down my book and ran down the stairs.

Opining my eyes, I am blinded by the morning sun peering through the drapes of the living room window. It seemed like she fell asleep on the couch while she watched the game;she never seemed to stay up for the entire game. She stretches her arms and gets up for another day. Her heart was immediately pounding from the reoccurring dream that had happened again; she was pathetic to be bothered by something that would not be a problem if she only talked to boy's her age more.
"Hey, did you sleep well?" asks dad, who was now pouring badder in the pan and drooping in some chocolate chips.
"Pretty good," I say yawning and I sit at the table.
"Have any plans for today? I saw on the school website that the Principal posted a message, that their is an Easter party planed by his daughter tomorrow again this year," Good way at stating the obvious, captain obvious .
