That morning she was up and ready to go for the festival. Before the day even started for anyone she was already in her kitchen fully dressed and ready to go. The morning sun was already risen and the snow sparkled like stars, as the light touched it. She was flipping bacon as she thought about how when her dad came back home that evening a few days ago, he pestered her on every detail of the day with the holiday heir ministers. Mostly Michael. Amelia was luckily able to convince him that she will have time for him and how Michael was nice, there was nothing to freak out about.

"Good morning sweetie," dad says and I passed him some coffee. "So your outfit ready for today? It is a very big day for you," he asks.

"It is and I know," I tell with a big grin. "And i'm planning on wearing that coat Mrs. Claus gave me for my birthday ."

"I heard you say that before," he says looking down at his computer. "You were saving it for today," he adds. "Which you will wear with the getup you are now wearing," he refers to my Christmas clothes.

"Yep and I have to leave soon for that as well," finishing everything, she wipes her mouth then, runs to her closet and puts the coat on and runs out again "See you later!"She yells and goes out the door.

When she finally got there, it took her 15 minutes to find a parking spot. It seemed many people had got there early, she thought. Putting up her Hood she gets out and walks to the park entrance. There was a huge line up out of the entrance, and as she saw that Amelia saw that there was a security checkpoint. As she came up to them she started to receive attention.

"Miss," says a police officer. "Please take your hood off, we need to be able to see your face," I comply.

They all stare and shout and gasps come from the line, "It is you!" says the officer. "The Mrs. Claus heir! I am so sorry mam you may pass," he says.

I nod, "Thank you," I say and pass checkpoint; also play my hood back up.

She looks around and finds it to be like a Festival of Colours. Along the usual dull paths of the park there were hundreds of Booths, with varieties of things. All holiday-themed, giving her great joy. There was so much to do and so little time. She passes Booth's of games, food, toys, and souvenirs. Amelia then makes her way to the stage, where she was supposed to meet up with everyone.

"Hey. It's a perfect fit! That's great!" cheers Mrs. Claus, who was coming to me.

"I guess it does, I truly loved it Flora," I say smiling.

" I'm glad, well everyone is waiting," she takes my shoulder and directs me backstage.

Everyone was there talking and fixing there special clothes, "Hey cousin," waves Hailey who sees me in the reflection of the mirror she's using.

"Hey," I say walking up to her; she was putting on her makeup. Looking all over Amelia chooses a lipstick and places it in front of Hailey. She smiles taking it and applies it to her lips.

"This looks great! thanks cuz," she says rubbing her lips together, and turning her face side to side checking for mistakes, then nods in acceptance.

" No problem," I say and you pass me a pure red lipstick. I laugh, "Thank you as well," she nods and I apply some.

"You look so beautiful my sugar plum," I turn around and see Michael coming up.

"Thank you," my face heats up.

"Hey Mia, you look nice," says Henry.

"Thanks Henry! Look!" I hold up my hands and show him, that I was wearing the leather gloves he made me.
