We eventually land on the dirt ground, as swift as an airplane. Mr. Easter then drives the car to a building were she saw many kids were gathering.
"Well, here we are, the great hall. Though I have to apologize to you Amelia because, I have many things to do and I won't be able to go in with you. Plus it would maybe make things stale ," he admits to me. "But here's what all you need to do. When you get in, there will be someone at a table near the front doors. Tell them your name and that person will give you the name of your cabin and roommate on a piece of paper; then you are on your own till later okay,".
I get out of the car, "I understand thank you," I say and he nods, while I close the door and take my luggage out of the car. He then drives away.
Well, here I go. She walks up and through the building with all the courage she could muster. She looks around and notices that everyone had at least one odd unique trait about them. From their clothes to over all appearance. The Great hall was very well done; with the exquisitely carved pillars, marble floors and statues depicting all the holidays. She then finds the table and walks up to it.
"Name," the man says.
"Amelia Basil," she says and he hands her a paper from a pile. She then turns and looks at the paper,
Cabin: Yellow rose
Roommate: Hailey Aros
What a strange name for a cabin? she thought, I wonder what this Hailey was like. I start to walk around in the crowd, listening to their conversations in order to pick up on their 'language'.
"Hailey! Hailey! Over here!" I hear boys call and I turn around. I see a girl with bright pink hair, being crowded by a bunch of boys.
"It's not the right time boys, I need to find my roommate right now," she counters, escaping their pending grip.
I take a deep breath and walk up to her, " Um, are you Hailey Aros?" I ask her showing her my piece of paper. She turns around and smiles.
"Yes! You must be Amelia then," she says and I nod.
Her smile grows wider, "Its so great to meet you! Let's go, preferably as far away from those guys as possible,"she says grabbing a piece of my luggage and my arm; then walks in the direction of the doors. She seemed to know were to go because we eventually got to a cabin, with a sign that had a painting of a yellow rise on it.
"Here we are! The place we will be sharing over the next two months," Hailey decrees. And I follow her in.
The inside was more rustic the I first thought. It was like you were at a nature camp.
"Authentic, I know. All of the Easter Ministers have always been down to earth. As for me, I just got here earlier this morning and I already miss my water bed and all my pillows. I would have brought some if, my dad hadn't said no,"Hailey says laying on the lower bunk.
