As I now had decided that it wasn't necessary to despise Kyle, he joined me in watching Trixie's performance again that night.

We'd had a drink together at the bar whilst people had filed in and I had found him almost suprisingly nice. I was finding that all my previous judgements were inaccurate, but now I knew he was engaged, I was glad. I'd like to say that this experience had taught me not to judge people, or jump to conclusions, but in reality I'd just learned to look for engagement rings.

"Do you want to head over?" he asked once we'd both finished our drinks.

I nodded, getting up from my seat, following him as he managed to squeeze through the people who were already there. I heard one man complain loudly as Kyle pushed by, at which he stopped, turning to the man.

"I'm so sorry, I'm the one in charge of this tour," he flashed the pass he had in his pocket, "And he's in love with her, so excuse us,"

A few people around us who had heard the exchange cheered. I rolled my eyes, hoping that that balanced out the smile that I couldn't help.

We found a space and watched the stage. Trixie had wandered out, chatting to the MC before her performance began.

Once alone on the stage, the music to Ru's Sissy that Walk started up. Inside, I died a little, because I swear I'd heard that song a million times, but with Trixie strutting about it was almost bearable.

I handed over my money, along with Kyle once again, but this time I didn't mind. It was amazing what realising someone wasn't competition could do for your friendship.

After the show, Kyle and I started to head round to the back of the club to find Trixie.

"Do you think anyone heard what I said earlier? Did it make it to Twitter?" Kyle asked suddenly.

"I haven't looked, but probably,"

"Check!" He nudged me.

Obligingly, I pulled out my phone and checked my Twitter, seeing my notifications full of a few tweets I was mentioned in that had been liked by several of my friends, Trixie included.
