Chapter 10: Seohyun

Seolhyun's POV:

"No one will ever know," I said to myself smiling. I looked around for anyone before sneaking out of my room. Quickly I ran to the garden and checked for a passage out of the palace by moving some rocks. Once I got out I saw a bamboo forest. Before running into it I checked behind me to see if anyone caught onto me. When there was no one I took out my flute and stared into the distance.

Thankfully I found this place yesterday, I thought to myself sitting down and starting to play a song.

Jungkook's POV:

I followed Seolhyun into the forest and heard a beautiful flute song being played. It sounded like it was a hope that someone would comeback, or they should be safe on their journey to a beautiful land. I walked closer to hear the song better.

Crack~

I looked at my foot and saw I stepped on a twig. She stopped playing and looked at me.

"Please don't tell anyone I came out of the palace," she said putting a finger to her lips. I nodded.

"What brings you out here though?" I asked. She lifted her flute up to show me.

"I was just playing a song," she said waving for me to come closer. I walked over and stood next to her.

"What is the song about?" I asked breaking the silence between us. She looked down and I saw her mouth make a small frown. "You don't have to tell me if it's too personal," I quickly said after I saw her reaction.

"It's fine," she said looking at my eyes, "It's a song I made after my boyfriend went to fight in a war, but he died by taking an arrow that was about to hit the king." 

Swish~

Quickly I drew my sword and broke the arrow flying towards us. I turned to her and she was shocked.

"We have to leave now," I said helping her up. We ran to the palace and I fixed the hole she used to get out. I walked her to her room once I checked if the garden was safe. When we got to her room she turned towards me and smiled.

"Thanks for saving my life," she said bowing.

"It's my job to protect," I said bowing back. She closed her doors and I left to Baekhyun's room. I entered and saw a pale Taeyeon and blood. Mi-Young turned and looked at me.

"How bad were the wounds?" I asked.

"She's can't work for a while," Mi-Young responded looking back at Taeyeon.

"Jungkook," Baekhyun said in a angered monotone voice.

"Yes?" 

"Find out who told the head maid about this and if she resists tell her I will demote her."

"Tiffany, can you make some rice porridge? It's for when she wakes up  she can eat something." 

"I'll get to work on it," she said bowing and leaving. I left also and went to maid quarters.

Taeyeon's POV:

After closing my eyes for a few seconds, I opened them. My throat was raw from screaming too much. 

"Are you awake?" I heard Tiffany ask. I nodded and tried get up using my hands first, but I fell and hit a part of my back. I was too weak to try and fix myself so the pain would stop. Tiffany  helped me sit up properly and moved a bowl in front of me.
