Easter

Mark: It's Easter and Jack's parents want to meet me. Oh crap, they didn't even know we were together until they saw our video we made on Youtube! I don't know what's going to happen and I don't even know what his parents are like. He said that I'll also be seeing his four brothers and sisters at the wedding, but for now it's only the parents. We pack our bags and send some videos so that they don't get worried while we don't  post a video. We then start driving. We sit in the plane and we eat some food while watching Felix and Ken. Jack dozes off on my shoulder. I kiss his forehead as I begin to close my eyes.

Jack: I wake up to the sound of the speaker. "Mark we're here." He slowly opens his eyes as he sees where he is. We get off and I see my ma. "Ma! It's so nice to see you." She brings me to a hug and then she sees Mark. "Ye must be the little man my son loves." He goes to shake her hand and she hesitantly shakes his. We go to walk to the car when Mark huddles a little behind me. We get in the car and Mark is stuck in the back seat. I try to keep some conversations with no problems, and it's so far going well. Then we get to the house. Here we go. "J-jack. What do I do?" I smile. "Just be yerself." We go in and I pet Gizmo. Mark stays to pet Gizmo.

               So far they aren't really getting onto the topic. Mark seems uncomfortable. I hold his hand a little and they look away quickly. "Ma, Dad, ye can't just hope it goes away. I love Mark and he loves me. If ye just tried talking to him then ye'd actually like him. He's a perfect son in law." The look at each other and nod. "Though it's hard to accept this as natural, we won't try and stop ye. We love you Jack." It was nice hearing my ma say that and my dad smiled and nod a  little. After that it was smooth sailing. They all actually started talking and they laughed at Mark's jokes. It was a good time and Mark was more relaxed and was himself. My dad talked about me as a child and my mom would try to be the cliche mom and show some pictures. I tried to hide them but she used Facebook to show him. It started to get late and Mark and I took my room for the night. "This was fun Jack, I can't wait to see them at the wedding!" "See I told ye they'd like ye." He kisses my cheek and we go under the covers to get some shut eye. "This was great Jack. Ye did goo having them talk to each other before the wedding."
