Her upper body jolted up as she awoke, jumping as a small object fell onto her leg. It was as if someone had electrocuted her. She leant down to see what had flown onto her bare leg. A tiny letter lay there. Stroking the soft parchment, she lifted the letter into view. Then frantically flipped the envelope in search for an address, but no address was written anywhere. Tracing the outline of the envelope carefully, she to opened it slowly. A sudden smell of burning rubber surfaced, causing her to wince slightly. The paper inside was soft, but yet slightly rough at the same time. Only a couple words were written in black, scraggly handwriting in the bottom left corner.
