Scary Riddle - A Conversation at School
--
Me: Augh, my head hurts!
Friend: Want to lie down? You look like death!
Me: Yea, I think I’ll go to sleep.
Friend: Your house isn’t far from here. Go to bed, and be careful! The flu has been going around recently.
Me: Yea, it has.
Friend: Death is sometimes caused by the flu, you know.
Me: … Yea, I’ll be careful.
Friend: Now go to sleep!
Me: Thanks!
Friend: Bye! Don’t worry about it.
Me: Night!
I noticed it then.
And that’s when I decided to not talk to that friend again.--
My head hurts. What is the “head” of a sentence? The first word. Read the first word of each of the friend’s lines, and you will see what the friend really wanted to say.
