~Megan's POV~
I jumped up from my bed and grabbed my debit card. It was time to make a serious dent in this money account I laughed. I grabbed my bag and sprinted out the door. I made it about halfway down the hall before I was caught.
"Hey you! No going out or in after 3 pm for attendance purposes," the co guidance counselor called out.
"What!?!?!," I yelled! "You don't understand, I need to go out ASAP it's an emergency," I pleaded .
"Sorry no exceptions," the woman stated with a smirk. I sagged my shoulders and hung my head low as I wobbled back to my dorm room. Things were already not going according to plan. But in an instant I has a great idea. I smiled mischievously and sprinted the rest of the way back to my dorm. I stripped through my clothes, grabbing pieces of things here and there. I grabbed my dark red lipstick and applies a thin layer. Twenty minutes later, I strode out of the room looking exactly as a maid. I grabbed a mini cart from the supply closet and worked my way down the hall.
"Hello," the co guidance counselor stated.
"Hello there mam," I smiled looking down as much as possible and walking quickly. As soon as I was outside I made a run for the car. I dashed wildly and smacked into a tree in the process. When I finally reached the mall, I ran into Joyce Leslie and poked through the millions of clothes. I tried on a pink crop top, a long flowing skirt and many other things. Finally, I saw an adorable elf costume and tried it on for fun. It was tots adorbs in a little kid way. I laughed and through the costume aside. Finally, I made my way to the register and through some things in the bag. I handed the clothes to the clerk and then pulled out my debt card. After buying the clothes I sprinted home and out of the car. It started to pour and as I slid out of the car I sloshed in a puddle, I fell face first into the wetness and came out soaking. My Joyce Leslie bag had gotten soaked and I prayed everything was ok. I raced upstairs and with a couple of ninja moves and ended up back in the dorm. I grabbed my outfit out and to my horror my new pink crop top was coated in mud and was already hardening. I HAD NOTHING TO WEAR!! I screamed as I pulled through the rest of the bag. At the bottom of the bag lay the elf costume that I had tried on as a joke. I hadn't meant to buy it and put my head in my hands. I might as well try I said as I pulled the costume on. The tiny red bells hang off the edge of the green high wasted felt jeans. The red felt shirt with a white Santa belt covered my long arms and I felt totally invaded by A Christmas virus. I applied a dark coat of red lipstick and tried to piece together the hairs sticking out of the attached wig. A tiny green hat with attached pointed ears and a mess of orange waves fell over my head. I looked like a troll of Christmas Day. I decided to change just as a knock sounded on the door.
