'Emily's POV-
It had been around just less than a week since I'd moved back. I had talked to the girls on skype quite a lot. It was crazy how much I missed them. I had caught up with my friends, family and even gone to school. I had gone to the first couple weeks of Sixthform in September, but then left to move into the house. It was nice going back and seeing so many familiar faces. The classes were great too. I took art and geography, subjects I both really enjoyed.
"Have you heard the boys new album? It got leaked a couple days ago! I have them all on my iPod." Bethany asked. She was also one of my close friends, and loved One Direction too. All of us in our group basically did, which was quite amazing. I wasn't as obsessed as Katie and the others - they had twitter fan accounts to prove it.
"No, I really need to! I beg you all come round mine after class. It's a friday and you can probably sleep over." They all agreed, saying they'd text their parents at lunch. Everything had gone back to normal, almost like the last two months were a dream of mine. No one treated me that different, something I admired. Anyone would of thought I would of been surrounded by questions and paps, but none of that happened. I was back to the 16 year old life I was used to.
The final bell rang, and I dumped my palet into the sinking, drying my hands on the tea towel. I picked up my bag from the floor, walking out the door of the art block. I walked across the small pavement, up to the front of the school. I pulled my bus pass out, flashing it as the driver and I made my way to the back of the bus. We always got the back. The rest of the downstairs consisted of wanna-bee year eights, matching hairstyles and orange foundation. My school wasn't the worst in the city, but most definitely approaching top."Are you all coming to mine then?" Yasmin agreed, Katie agreed, Beth agreed and Jade agreed. Sleepover, woo! They said they would get their parents to drop off their stuff later which was great, I couldn't wait. Ever since I got home, my parents have been spoiling me rotten. I'm not complaining though. My stop was the very last one, and we had the bus to ourselves. It wasn't too cold out, just a regular chilly day I guess. There were a couple clouds in the sky. "Hello!" I called out as we all climbed through the door. My Mum said hello, as we quickly ran up the stairs. My room definitley wasn't big, but it wasn't too small. It was average size, enough for many posters and decorations. I had a massive collage of photos on one of the walls, designed in a love heart shape. It was cliche, but I loved it.
We hung out for the next couple hours, dancing around and such. I only just remembered how much I actually did miss hanging around with my old friends. In a way, I loved it better than fame. It's not as if I was famous, but it was still better than the drop I had tasted. Being able to live my life normally, not having to worry about how I look on camera or if I'm doing/saying the wrong thing.
"Urgh I fucked up my eyeliner. Do you have any make-up wipes anywhere Em?" I nodded, flinging my phone down and walking out of my bedroom door. Jade followed, tightening her pony tail as we walked down the stairs. My Mum had recently just bought a new packet, and I knew they hadn't been put away yet. We searched for them all downstairs.
"Ah-hah!" I shouted, pulling out the small blue packet from under the rest of the toiletries.
"Em! Nicholas is on the phone!" Katie shouted, giggling away. She said it in a teasing way, which almost made me mad. I shoved the make-up wipes to Jade, pushing past lightly as I sprinted upstairs. I grabbed the phone from the girls, tucking my fringe behind my ear nervously.
"Hello?" I breathed.
"Hi. Urm, I was just calling to catch up. Is this a bad time?"
"No- no it's a great time. Sorry about my friends, they were being idiots." I laughed. I looked over at the girls, to see them making kissy faces at me. I rolled my eyes, throwing a pillow at them. They started hitting eachother with it though, something I didn't expect to start happening.
"Oh okay. Everyone really misses you here. It's not the same without your cheesy jokes and Kermit onesie." He chuckled. I agreed.
"Yeah, I miss you guys too. I'm so sorry I had to leave like that I just-"
"Don't apoligise. It wasn't your fault, we understand."
"I feel bad, apparently you were really upset about it." He paused for a second before replying.
"Who said that?"
"Luke, he text me."
"Son a bit- I'll talk to you later ok? Have fun with your friends. Bye."
"Bye Nicky." I hung up, slouching down against the wall. I turned round, hitting my head lightly on it. I didn't know if I meant to tell Nicky about what Luke said, but I had a feeling I shouldn't of. Wish I'd of just kept my mouth closed for once.-
Sorry everyone! My iPod is officially fucked. Christmas eve is tomorrow, holy noodles! Update tomorrow probably, can't believe only a couple chapters left. Thanks for everything.
