'Emily's POV-.
I scrolled down my mentions, feeling happy about all the good comments I had received. I had a small fan base forming, which was nice. "Tamsworthers" they were called, which is incredibly cute.
Ever since my conversation with Tamera, I haven't been able to have a proper conversation with Nicky. Whenever he tries to talk to me, I get all nervous and sweaty. He's started doing the same. Other people have started noticing as well, but we both put it off.
I got up from my bed and walked downstairs into the kitchen to get a drink. All the boys from Kingsland Road were in there, along with the three boys as well. As soon as I walked in, everyone went quiet. I noticed Matt nudge Nicholas, and him go bright pink.
"You okay, Emily?" Sam asked. I looked up from my now poured drink of orange squash.
"Yeah, I'm good thanks." I walked out of the room, my phone in one hand and the glass in another. My eyes were glued to my twitter newsfeed, and I didn't notice Joey from Rough Copy coming down the stairs.
"BOO!" I screamed, jumping and dropping the glass on the floor. It shattered, and a shard of glass scraped the front bare bit of my foot. It started to bleed, and I started to cry slightly. Okay - call me a wimp, but it bloody hurt. Plus, I'm not the biggest fan of blood. Nicky came jogging from the kitchen, followed by the rest of them.
"Oh my fucking god, I'm so sorry Emily!"
"Are you ok?"
"Shit the glass cut her." I sat down on the 3rd step of the stairs, bringing my foot up so I could look at it. The blood continued to seep from it, forming a little puddle on my foot.
"Emily, darling what happened?" Sam Bailey came down the stairs, shooing all the boys away. She got me a wet cloth to wipe away the blood and clean the cut.
"Can I help at all?" Nicky was stood in the doorway.
"Get the dust pan and brush and clean up the glass before anyone else gets hurt, eh?" He nodded, disappearing again. Sam pick up my foot, and I winced slightly. The bleeding hadn't stopped, but wasn't as bad as before.
"It doesn't look like a deep cut, but I would get it checked out, just incase." I nodded, thanking her. Why hadn't I been more careful and looked where I was going?
Nicholas came back in, crouching down and sweeping up the glass. I felt kind of bad, seeing as I did kind of make the mess. I climbed off the stairs, crouching down next to him and picking up tiny bits of glass.
"No don't do that you could cut yourself again!" He said. I shrugged. I carried on picking them up, it becoming a tricky job spotting the smaller bits. I looked up to find Nicky doing the same thing. He was looking hard for them. Our heads were close together, so close that when he looked up at me our noses were only a couple inches away. He smiled at me, and I smiled back, giggling slightly. I'd never noticed how blue his eyes actually were before. They were a clear, nice blue, not too dark or light a shade.
"Emily, Sam said the driver will be here soon to take you to the Doct- Oh!" I sprung up, limping over to the coat rack.
"Ok thanks!" I put my coat on, slipping my loose uggs on. I felt these would be way better than any other shoes.
"Do you need accompanying?"
"No don't worry, I'll probably be fine." He nodded, taking the gathered glass to the bin. I made my outside to the car, carefully getting in. I wasn't too injured, but I didn't want to knock it at all. I hope I was ok, otherwise Nicole would kill me.
