His name was Robert.
Maja found herself watching him more and more. She couldn't stop. She just wanted to look at him. It went beyond him being attractive to look at. He was more than just that.
She found it strange that someone so good looking had gone unnoticed by the others. She could now quite happily assure herself that other girls didn't seem to be interested.

Maja simply continued her own work. She had requests piling up. She was hoping that, perhaps one day, Robert would come up to her and ask her to match him with someone.
Maybe that way they'd at least talk.
Even though she'd be gutted if he asked to be paired with someone else.

Her friends in the year below were happy to provide all the details. He was a year younger than Maja. Was that really a problem?
Maja didn't see it as a problem. Just last week, she'd set up Shelly and Jason. Jason had been two years older than Shelly. No one seemed to find that weird.
Yet when she told her friends, they seemed surprised.
