It would be too hard for Maja to admit it.
She didn't like him. She'd never spoken to him. She just thought he was good looking. There was... There was something about him which was mesmerizing.
She couldn't quite put it into words. It was just... A thing.

Her position as the Matchmaker of the school had given her a decent social rank. She was not popular, and she did not have lots of friends, but she was well-respected around the school.
People knew her and people knew what she did.

It had all started eight months ago. Her best friend had found out that her crush liked her back. The friend had been flustered to say the least, but it was Maja who'd sorted out everything.
She'd done it partially as a joke, and partially to help her friend out.
Either way, she resolved the situation.
The next week, as a joke, her other friend asked her to set her up with a boy. Maja laughed, said she'd do her best.
Either way, she did it.
So she became the Matchmaker.
