"Can you meet me somewhere?" Comes Harry's tired voice over the speaker. I bite my lip nervously.
"What do you mean? Are you okay?"
"I'm just... I'm really tired Theresa and I just want to see you right now."
"Why? What happened?" Harry hesitates. "You can tell me." I insist.
"No.. I know. It's just." He stops.
"Is it something to do with the boys?" I question.
"Yes."
"And they're there right now?" I continue.
"Yes." He repeats. I sigh. This is a bad idea. This is such a bad idea but I can't say no to Harry when he sounds so sad. I purse my lips and against my better judgment say,
"Okay, where do you want to meet?" He sends me the address to a coffee shop. It's some place I've never been before and I'm hoping it's far enough out of the way that paparazzi won't know where the hell we are. Unless they follow his car there.. Nobody should see us. I hope.
Ava drops me off at the coffee shop, a grim smile on her face as she waves goodbye to me. I had barely gotten home from my part time job at the bookstore when Harry called so I had to quickly change into a different set of clothes before asking Ava if she could drive me somewhere. She muttered something about me needing my own car but took me anyways.
When I stepped into the coffee shop, the bell above the door jingled and several workers called out a greeting to me. Smiling politely, I began to wander into the room, looking for Harry. I found him at a table in the back, his hair tied back in a bun and sunglasses perched on his nose. I almost didn't recognize him for a second but his bright patterned shirt caught my eye so I headed towards him. He was fiddling with a coffee mug when I sat down at the table.
"Hey.. Are you okay?" I ask earnestly. He really does look tired. I can tell something's upset him.
"God I wish I could kiss you right now." He admits. I try not to blush. If people recognize us.. Me blushing could send the wrong message.
"Why couldn't we go to my place?" I ask him.
"Management forbids it." He mutters.
"Since when?" I hiss, glaring at the table. Harry shakes his head.
"I don't know. They keep putting these new things on me. They're forcing me to go out with that Jenner girl more, trying to get me to spend less time with you.. I shouldn't even be here right now but I just had to see you."
"Harry.. What's wrong?" He sighs heavily.
"Zayn and Louis got into a fight today. They're currently not speaking to one another." I blink in surprise.
"What? Why? What happened?" I ask him.
"I don't know.. I Just came in and they were screaming at each other. Liam was holding Zayn back, Niall was getting in between them. Management eventually 'grounded' us and put us in separate rooms. Zayn and Liam one way, Louis, Niall and I another so I only have Louis' side."
"I'll talk to Zayn, ask him what happened so we can put the pieces together."
"I got the gist of it from Louis and Niall I think. They both agree Zayn kind of started the fight."
