"I had my first period at my grandmothers house, I woke up, and thought I had an accident. I went into the bathroom, and saw blood. My Grandma was asleep, and I was too embarrassed to say anything to my grandfather. So I went to school. I told my friend and she told the teacher. The teacher called me over to her desk, and I started crying. She called my mom, and sent me to the nurse, who gave me candy. Then, they sent me home, and I laid in bed all day."
