Mayra's pov
We drove on our way to my house. Grayson was going to bring me home. Why doesn't he realise that I'm in love with him. It was quiet on our way home.
I don't freaking understand him. First he wants me to be his girlfriend and then he doesn't want it anymore because he's afraid to hurt me.
Earlier
"I will hurt you." He said and I looked at him. It was not what I expected. Why could I actually think he would ask me to be his girlfriend.
"What are you talking about?" I asked as my forehead didn't touched his anymore.
He opened his eyes and looked at me. "Listen I like you so much, but It's not going to happen, I will hurt you." He said and that hurted.
Graysons pov
We sat in the car and I understood why Mayra was mad. I didn't say a thing. I regret what I said but now she's mad anyways.
Earlier
"What are you talking about?" She asked. She didn't touch me anymore so I opened my eyes.
I don't want to hurt her. "Listen I like you so much, but it's not going to happen, I will hurt you." I said and I regretted it immediately.
"You're playing me, I'm so stupid to actually believe that you liked me, because you don't." She said as she stood up.
She walked away and I chased after her. "No believe me I like you, I do.. But what if I do something bad, I don't want to hurt you." I said.
"So you are saying that you like me and that's why we dated and now you want to end this because you're afraid of me getting hurt?" She asked as she stopped with walking.
"In a relationship you will get hurt, That's how it is Grayson, I will hurt you and you will hurt me." She continued and I knew she was right.
"But you were right, You will hurt me, that's exactly what you've been doing the last three minutes." She said and she continued walking.
"Mayra.." I began and she turned around. "What?" She yelled. "The car is that way." I said as I pointed to my car. "I will walk." She said.
"It's twenty minutes of walking towards you're house and I'm not risking you getting beaten up again." I said as I became a little mad.
She thought about that for a second and she walked towards my car after that.
now
"Mayra I'm sorry I never ment to hurt you I-" I apologised. "No forget it, don't even finish your sentence." She said as she cut me off.
It was quiet for a while and I looked at Mayra. She looked at the trees outside.
"I can't believe you played me like that." I heard her saying with a little crack in her voice. "You let me fall in love and now you're breaking me." She said after that.
"Mayra I'm in love with you." I said as I knew that she wouldn't believe me. I felt that my eyes became watery. I blinked my tears away before she saw that.
she rolled her eyes. "For one second I thought you really wanted me as your girlfriend." She said.
I pulled over at the side of the road and stepped out of the car. I really want to scream right now.
Mayra's pov
Grayson pulled over and stepped out of the car. I knew he was getting mad and that was exactly what I was trying to do.
