Rwby: The Vigilante

Chapter 1

RWBY: The Vigilante

In a small village, just over the mountains that protect vale, an attack is happening. This is not the first attempt by humanity to create a haven beyond the mountains and expand Vales reach. The villages protective militia is being easily overrun, yet bodies of Grimm are falling. Soon all Grimm are dead, leaving the settlers and the militia questioning what happened. Through the smoke of the decaying Grimm a lone figure walks out. They are wearing nearly all black with a black chest piece, black gloves and a black trench coat. Their face is covered by a silver mask, and a black hood, the figure walks up to the militia and the settlers.
"Stay, stay back" one of them shouts while they all ready their weapons.
The figure slightly brings up their hands in a surrender pose. A woman barges through the crowd to the frightened militiamen.
"wait stop! Don't you know who this is, it's The Vigilante!" She screams.
This new development causes whispers in the crowd, many of them disbelieving it's actually The Vigilante, and others repeating rumours they've heard. The figure steps forwards and allows the crowd closely see the figures attire. The black clothing has many tears and claw marks, the chest piece has been slashed many times allowing sight into the silver metal under the black paint. The silver helmet also sports marks and scratches, but still allows the crowd to see their frightened reflection.
"Can you see out of that mister? There isn't any eye holes!" A small child questions.
"Yes I can" the figure coldly states, a voice modifier removing any hint of humanity. 
People gasp at the realisation that it is The Vigilante, his modified voice is famous throughout Remnant. The same woman who informed everyone who the figure was walks up to them. She glides her hand over the smooth and marked mask
"Why don't you take this off? We can repair it for you" she says.
"No, you're all safe now. If this happens again, I'll be back" the gravely, deep, robotic voice replies as the figure walks away.

TIME SKIP

The Vigilante has made their way into Vale perched upon a building, it's dark probably early morning and most shops are opening, a crash brakes the tranquil morning. Looking down The Vigilante can see several men fighting with a young girl, she seems to be handling herself well but she is extremely outnumbered. The Vigilante jumps down and starts to help in the fight. Several men try to hit The Vigilante but are easily countered and hit, within seconds all of them are dealt with. The young girl looks at her helper
"Ooooohhh You're The Vigilante! Can I have autograph?" the young girl squeals.
Tilting their head down, The Vigilante gets a closer look at the girl.

Hands balled into fists and raised to her mouth suggests excitement and childishness. However her skill with the scythe suggests a hint of discipline and lots of training, with an expert scythe wielder. I only know one, Qrow Branwen, teacher at Signal. Yes seems probable she's around the age of attending Signal, close proximity to Qrow and his skill. She's confident in her excitement, maybe adrenaline, no cookie crumbs in the corner of her mouth suggests....sugar rush?

"Maybe later" comes the cold response
"Hey little red, it was a good time but I'm going to have to leave" a man with ginger hair and a black and white suit, yells from a ladder.
You and the girl run after him and climb the ladder, he is in a bullhead and aims his cane at a crystal at both your feet. He fires creating a big explosion, he laughs but stops once he spots something. A wall of fire has protected them, the masked one lowers his hand and the fire follows this movement. Suddenly a woman jumps next to the girl. The Vigilante recognises it's Glynda Goodwitch, realising the girl is in good hands, makes their escape.

TIME SKIP

The sun is up as The Vigilante walks down a residential street and stops at a normal looking house. They turn around and press a button at the side of the mask, a message 'No Surveillance' appears on a HUD in the mask. They turn towards a window which is open and wings of fire appear on the back of The Vigilante. They fly upwards and enter the house through the window. They flip their hood down revealing the mask extends all around the head, their hands rise to the sides of the mask and a small click is heard. The helmet is lifted off to reveal a boy with (h/c) colour hair, (e/c) eyes and (s/c) skin. You take off the rest of your clothes and armour and replace them with casual clothes. You flop on your bed and start relaxing but..
"(Y/n)! Breakfast" a womanly voice shouts
You flop out of bed and make your way down to the dining room, you are met with (f/f) ready for you to eat. You flop down in the seat and start eating your food.
"Sleep well?" Your mother asks.
"Yeah" you respond.
"You don't have to be so cold, you know" she says with a smile
"I know" you smirk
You continue eating your food while your mother watches t.v, news reports on The Vigilante.
"We need someone like that in the world, it's bad enough with Grimm and The White Fang" she says to herself.
You smile knowing that she indirectly approves of your actions. You are about to take another bite of your food when there is a knock on the door.
"I'll get it" you say as you walk to the door.
