Kendra’s POV-

“Kendra dear, are you okay?”

“Yeah. Can you meet me in the park near the old house?”

“Sure. I’ll be there in five minutes.”

I hung up my phone. I went back inside the restaurant and told everyone where I was going. I then took the car to the park. When I got there my dad was standing near the pond.

Perfect.

“Hey Kend-”

“Why’d you do it?” I asked.

“What do you mean? I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Bullshit.”

“Kendra! Don’t use that tone of language!”

“Oh I’m sorry. I forgot I can’t use that sort of language, but you can separate me from the guy I love.”

He looked taken aback.

“W-What are you talking about?”

“You know damn well what I’m talking about.”

“No honey, it wasn’t like that.”

“Then how the hell was it?!”

“I was just looking out for you.”

“How? By taking me away from the guy I love? Wow, great looking out for me.”

“Ken he’s not good enough for you.”

“No, he’s the best part of me.”

“You’re young Kendra. You don’t know what is best for you.”

“Oh that is crap. I know exactly what is best for me and that is Harry. And nothing in this world can take me away from him. Not hate, not media, and much less a bastard like you.”

I did feel kind of bad for talking to him like this. But then again he brought it on himself.

“Oh and by the way, you’re not good enough for mom.”

I then turned on my heel, and walked back to the car. I felt tears falling freely down my face, but I didn’t care. All I need right now is to see Harry. I hope he’s back.

I took the car and drove back to the hotel. I quickly went up to mine and Harry’s room, but he wasn’t there. Right then I lost in and started sobbing. I curled up on the couch and cried. And cried.

I heard the door opening and closing. I assumed it was Harry. At least, I hope it is.

Harry came in grinning like a mad man. When he saw me his smile turned into a frown.

“Kendra? What’s wrong?!”

He came over to me and hugged me. He held me for a while before I decided to say something.

“Why…why were y-you so happy?” I said as I hiccupped. I really hate crying.

“Why were you so sad?”

“Touché.” He chuckled a bit. “I talked to my father.” I pulled away from Harry’s embrace.

“Oh…”

“Yeah. I kinda yelled at him.” Harry chuckled again.

“Did he apologize?”

“Not at all. I think that’s what upset me the most.”
