Kendra’s POV-

“Kendra dear, wake up.”

I could tell it was Nina by her voice. Honestly, I was already awake just that I had my eyes closed because I have a headache.

“Morning Nina.”

“Ken, why are you on the couch? Why didn’t you sleep with Harry?”

“Because he hates me.”

“What?”

I sat up and opened my eyes.

“We had a fight last night,” I told her.

“Why?”

“Clarissa.”

Nina sighed. “Kendra, you need to forget about that girl.”

“See! That’s what he said! Well more or less, but it seems that everyone loves Clarissa now!”

“Kendra please, we don’t love her more than you.”

“Gee thanks, where is Harry anyways?”

“With Clarissa…”

“My point exactly.” I grabbed a pillow and covered my face with it.

“The guys went out to get breakfast with her this morning.”

“Just perfect.”

“Look on the bright side; we’re going to the club later.”

“What? Why?”

“Clarissa said it’d be fun….”

“Ugh!”

“I know Ken, I’m sorry.”

“Nothing good ever happens in clubs, ever.”

“It’ll be fun! We can dance the night away!”

“I can’t dance Nina, even if my life depended on it.”

“Please?”

“Fine, but I’m not drinking!”

“Yay!”

My phone then started to vibrate, it was my mom.

“Hi,” I said.

“Hi dear, how are you.”

“Um good.”

“So I need to talk to you about the wedding.”

“Oh God mom really? Can’t we do that some other time?”

“No Kendra, you’re my maid of honor and I need to run some things by you.”

“What if I don’t even want to be in the wedding mom?!” I know I shouldn’t have said that I was just frustrated.

“I hope you don’t mean that Kendra. You’re my daughter and I love you but you need to change your attitude towards this wedding.”

“Mom, you know I’m not excited about that.”

“Why can’t you just be happy for me?”

“I can’t just because of the person you’re marrying.”

“He’s your father Kendra.”

“Wish he wasn’t.”

After I said that my mom hung up on me.

“Why did I say that? I’m so stupid!”

“No you’re not Ken, you’re just mad.”

“Thanks Nina, you make me feel better.”
