Max is someone you'd know but never talk to, she was always too intimidating to ever have a conversation with. But there's something that changes the way she suddenly sees the world. Suddenly the autumn leaves look bright and exhilarant. The raindrops on the windows looked like art. The sunset was seen as melting gold with other beautiful colors of purple and pink. The world just seemed to know its amazing side when this something showed up. But when she had this, it had its downfalls. Max was forced to show secrets. She had to stop being the tough girl in order to save this something from danger. When she lost this, she felt alone. She felt as if things would never be normal again. She knew she COULD get better over time and face the truth, but the truth is a son of a bitch and she didn't want to, she'd rather fight for this something until it was in her arms again. This something, had shown what Max never saw in herself. Hope. This something lifted that to an even higher level.
