Ch 7

Kate's pov:

"This building is huge" shy stated

"And so businessy looking" it was actually pretty intimidating. I've never really had to go into places like this.

"May I help you two?" the snobby looking receptionist asked

"Unmm, ya we are looking for" I looked down at the message Niall sent me with the info. "Room 530"

She started laughing

"Is something funny" I asked

"Your funny, that was a great joke." she laughed even harder

"What was?"

"That room and all the rooms on that floor are for important people sweetie and you definitely don't belong there" she looked me up and down. She has to be fucking kidding me. I could feel my blood boiling.

"Shit" shy breathed "Kate lets just go we can find it ourselves" she tried pushing me to the elevator but she moved to slowly.

"Who the fuck do you think you are" I spit. The receptionist, who's name tag read Tammy, looked taking back. "who the fuck are you to judge anyone, I don't see you in one of those rooms do I? no your down here, just you and your snobby ass attitude." I was full on yelling now "so why don't you just do your fucking job and tell us where the goddamn room is before I slam your face into the keyboard!"

"Ummm... it. What are your names?" She was speechless. Shyanne was shaking her head in disapproval of my actions, but she should be used to this, I've had anger issues my whole life.

"Just take the elevator to the 10th floor and turn left and walk till you see the room number. The boys are expecting you"

"Thank you, Tammy" I stated calmly and walked away after I grabbed a cookie off of the plate in front of me.

"You can't do that Kate" shy sighed once the doors to the elevator closed

"You know how I am, I can't help it. And that's why my job is what it is, or else I wouldn't have even yelled, I would have just smacked her face of the keyboard from the start" I laughed looking up at the screen. 3rd floor.

"You can get in trouble for threatening people like that. We have been over this."

"I know, I know. But you can't take away the fact that I have been controlling it a lot better, so lay off a little" 6th floor

"I'll leave it alone for now, but you have to be better with it than that"

I just shrugged my shoulders in response.

10th floor.ding.

As we stepped off, a taller man with a nice suit ran into me dropping a couple of papers in the process

"Hey, watch..." I can do it "I'm sorry" I smiled at the man, leaning down helping him gather the sheets.

"Thank you" he stated when I handed the few sheets I had grabbed to him

"No problem"

And we walked opposite ways

"Good job" shy laughed

"See I told you I was getting better with it."

"Knock on the door." I whispers to Shy

"No you do it, your the upfront one between us" she said using air quotes

"Doesn't mean I wanna ask"

"Well you should you..." she was cut off by the medium sized door opening

"Can I help you?" A man asked

"Ya I guess, we are here for a meeting with one direction and management" I said as more of a question.

"Yes right this way" he moved to the side to let us through

"Hey guys" Lou waved

"Sup" I smiled back and Shy just waved. the rest of the boys waves as well

"So this must be Kate and Shyanne Lopez" an older looking women asked and we nodded. "Please, take a seat girls"

We took a seat as did the older women. There were a couple other people but they weren't saying anything.

"So let's get down to business shall we. As you all know there are big rumors going around about you two in the boys room" she paused looking for approval of her assumption, so we nodded "right and the 3 boys have already explained this to their girlfriends, but the fans are assuming that all of the boys are messing around with you two and there for believe that those 3" she gestured to Zayn, Lou, and Liam " are cheating.

"So where do we come in on this?" Shy asked

"Well the boys, mostly those three are getting a lot of hate and we need to fix it."

"Sooo, what about it has to do with us?" I pursued

"So, you are now going to be dating Niall James Horan" she stated towards me

"I'm what?!?" I looked over at Niall and he looked as calm as could be.

"You are going to date him long enough to make the fans believe that you were there for him and that your sister had just came with you. So it will basically answer all the questions of why you were there and it will slowly but surly kill the rumors and hate they are all receiving" she finished

"But don't I have a say so in this?!" I asked

"You do, but at the same time you don't."

"And how does that work?" I raised my eyebrow

"Because you were the one that caused this and..."

"No, Nialls the one who invited me and my sister into the room" I butt in

"Yes, but this is the only solution to this mess." She stated. I looked over at Niall again and he shrugged his shoulders

"What do you think about it?" I asked him

"I mean, she's right. This is really the only logical way." Oh wow he is really okay with this

"I don't know about this"

"Oh come on Kate, this is for the boys. Please!!!!" Shy begged

"Do I have to sign a contract??" I asked

"Yes, only to reinsure that you won't do anything to spite the group if something happens between to two of you, and you know the basics." she explained while laying what I guess was the contract onto the table with a pen.

"So what do you say?" shy asked

I know this chapter wasn't the best, I'm sorry. it was really just meant to get the ball rolling with the plot.
