Kate's pov:

I woke up to the overly annoying sound of my alarm clock. I've never been one to enjoying having to get up early in the morning. I dragged myself out of bed and went into the bathroom.

I turned on the shower and striped down. I washed up and turned the water to ice cold and quickly stuck my head and most of my upper body into it, jolting me awake, which is what I was aiming for. I left the bathroom and went to my small closet pulling out my joggers, sports bra, and gym shirt. Or what I call my work cloths. I was a trainer, I trained people 'self defense'. at least that's what I was supposed to teach them, I looked at it like I am teaching them how to just beat the crap out of anyone when needed. I enjoy doing it more when I look at it that way.

I walked over to the stereo in the corner of my room and connected my phone. Opening youtube I looked up One Direction and a list of videos appeared. Some labeled funny moments and interviews. After scrolling past a bunch of those I finally found one of their songs. The tittle read Summer Love. Once it began playing I recognized it from one of my many car rides with Shy. Or as I like to refer to it as, the only time she was able to trap and forcefully make me listen to their CDs. Which I would just block out, but considering I'm supposed to be Niall's 'girlfriend' I should probably learn a couple words at least. I cranked up the volume and walked over to my mirror to brush my hair.

My ringer came over the speakers interrupting the song that I was surprisingly enjoying. The screen read Niall.

Why would he be calling me this early. I looked at the top of the screen to see it was already 9:00, I had to be at work by 9:30.

I slid to answer bar over.

"Hello?" I spoke

"Hey what are you doing?" be asked

"About to leave for work, why"

"Oh really, what do you do?" he questioned.

"I'm a "self defense" trainer at a gym" I used my fingers to do air quotes even tho he couldn't see my action.

"Really?"

"Yes, but I have to get going, did you need something?"

"Yes I'm bored and stuck at the hotel, I wanted to hang out" he complained

"And I have to talk to you about something important"

"Well I can't, not now at least and what do you need to talk about" Hearing those words always bothered me, because it was usually nothing good behind them.

"Can I come to the gym with you?" He completely ignored my question.

"Why?"

"I've already told you why, so can I?" I could hear the hint if hope in his voice. How could I tell him no?

"Umm sure, okay?"

"Yaay"he cheered "text me the address and I will meet you there"

"Okay" I hung up and sent him the address which was only down the street from my house. That's one other reason I liked this job, it's easy to get to, and considering I can't drive it's a good thing it's walking distance. I should really look into drivers training considering I am 18 but I've never really had to worry about it. The thought of not having to be dependent in Shy for rides sounded great, I will really have to look into the subject.

I turned off my stereo and grabbed my gym bag. Then headed towards the door to slip on my shoes.

"See ya later dad, love ya" I spoke to the man who was sitting in his usual chair at the dinning room table drinking his coffee
