"NO!" North bellows when Gabe shows him the designs. Gabriel steps up to him, nose to nose and shoves the rough draft of the dress in his hands.

"Yes you will," he shouts, "because it's what Trouble fu-dging needs right now! You will put on the god da-rn dress and wig, and you will be f-lipping happy about it you big oaf, or I swear by the sweet baby Jesus that I will end you!"

I've never seen the two face off like this before, and I'm actually surprised when North takes the costume and grumbles his way into the bathroom. Gabe turns to me with a self-satisfied smirk and tosses another bundle my way.

"You're up, Kota. I need you to try those on so that I can get them hemmed before you go."

It's my turn to smirk, because I lucked out and get to be a prince for my first run with Sang. I quickly change into the almost perfect Eric costume and stand on a chair while Gabe fixes the bottoms. It's because of this that I'm the first to see North as he re-enters the room in his Anna outfit. I snort and practically fall off of my perch.

North glares and growls, "Laugh, I fu-," he looks at Gabriel and I raise an eyebrow at him, "fudging dare you!"

Gabe falls backwards onto the floor in glee at the sound of North censoring himself. Yesterday, Mr. Blackbourne decided that some of us could do with a refresher in what language was suitable around children, so Gabe, North, and Nathan are on a sort of verbal lock down.

"Oh my god!" Gabriel cries between laughs. "This is just too freaking good!" He gets up off of the floor and circles a very sullen North. He calms down and taps his chin, thinking. "The fit is good, but I'm just not sure that you can pull this off." He glances at me and I nod, stepping down and over to the two.

"North," I ask quietly, "are you going to be able to do this? You need to be honest with us. I promise that we won't judge you, it's just, well," I pause, " this is important. To Sang."

He lifts his chin and straightens his posture. "I can do it for Sang Baby. I don't really like this," he waves his hands at the dress he's wearing, "but I'll be good. I promise that I'll try."

I tilt my head at Gabe and he nods in understanding. He walks over to one of the many bags that accompanied him to my house this afternoon and pulls out strips of fake fur.

"How about we start you out as the Beast?" Gabe asks as he starts cutting the fur and draping it in different places over North's head and shoulders. "We'll ease you into this. I know that at  least you've got the fu-dging growl down."

North snarls, making Gabe jump, and then cracks up at himself.  I just roll my eyes and shake my head.

"Are you done with me?" I ask, checking the time. "I promised that I'd pick Sang up from Sean's condo at two, and I want to stop and get something on the way.

Gabriel looks me over critically and stalks into my bathroom without a word.  He comes back and hands me my dreaded contacts case and I sigh.

"I really hate wearing these," I complain.  I know I'm being petulant, but I can't help it.  I've read horror stories of the kinds of eye infections people have gotten from improper care.

"Too bad," Gabe dismisses me with a shrug.  "Prince Eric doesn't wear glasses, and we all know that there's no way you're going to mishandle them.  You'll be fine."  I fold my glasses, putting them into their protective case and pop the tiny lenses into my eyes.  I blink a few times and the room comes back into focus.

I grab a change of clothes and as I'm heading down the stairs toward the garage, Gabe peeks his head through the doorway and shouts, "I'll meet you and Trouble at the hospital in an hour, so don't be freaking late.  Tell her to leave her hair down, and I'll flipping fix it in Doc's office!"
