I share an apartment with my best friend. One unimportant night (which was soon going to turn into something traumatic) we were watching a comedy. We told each other good night. I lay down on my bed trying to go to sleep.
A few hours later I woke up to eerie sounds. I wanted to investigate but I was too scared and tired to get up so I stayed under my sheets.
