Lily's POV: November 2010.

I let my breath go, and in a quick surge of movement, I push my body in an arabesque stance. I elegantly bring my arms down, and start doing some more arabesque exercises, then I plan on doing some basic ballet exercises. My mother enrolled Theda and I into Ballet when we we're both four, if she didn't become a rock n roll singer, she would have focused on becoming a ballerina. At first I was very shy but as I got the hang of it, I really started to shift my focus onto it. Now eighteen years later and I'm still doing it, but like my mother I have no intentions on hitting the Ballet circut anytime soon. Though for me it's my little escape from everything, from my work, my family, my guitar. It's me time, and Ballet is for me it's a beloved hobby of mine.

I still take classes, but lately I've been focusing on trying to find a guitar gig. As passionate as I am about ballet, I'm even more extremely passionate of guitar. Ever since I could hold my head up, my dad would always sit me on his lap and play his guitar. And again when I was four, I begged my father to teach me to play guitar and when he did, it was like no one's gonna stop me. I dropped out of college, I had two years left, I was studying...Ballet, and when I say that Ballet is a beloved hobby of mine, i don't mean that I want to teach it...If my music doesn't work out, I want to perform Ballet. I'm a little introverted and my sisters compare me to an eighty year old wise woman, but I found performing whether it be riffing off with my Red Gibson SG, or doing high flight jumps in ballet. I found that those really brought out the two best sides of me, one side is elegance, grace, poise. The other is me basically imitating my dad onstage performing, it's like elegance and grace is thrown out the window, I'll screw up my face and I'll hiss as I shred my guitar. And it's an adrenaline rush for me.

Ella did Ballet, from age four to twelve, the same with Gymanstics. She left her classes for both but doesn't necessarily means to say she stopped, she just focuses more on her drumming. She's an incredible drummer, all of us play drums, but if I had to choose who has the potential of being like Uncle Mick. I'd say it's Ella, she has the most drive, the most passion and she's the most coordinated to become a master of percussion. Her and I always laughingly say that when we play our instruments we imagine we're dudes, we get rough and tough with our instruments. I mean of course we're ladylike, our mom taught us well, but when we play in front of people especially the opposite sex. We don't like to be seen as weak, so we emmulate the strength and the gusto that males carry on stage with them.

I've finished my class. Tonight is Aaron and Nadine's engagement party, while mom was on tour us kids got together with Aaron and discussed the wedding. They only want family and a close friends to attend, it's going to be in Italy and Nadine arrived a few days ago. However, poor thing, she got bad jetlag and to make matters worse she's been throwing up ever since. My guess is the airline food, I don't trust that stuff, but a girls gotta eat, especially if she's on a long-hours flight with a three year old. I drive back to mine and Theda's apartment, Ella stayed the night with us. Theda may be my twin and dammit I love her! But Ella's my, let's just say that technically Ella and I are really the twins. Not just because she's my mini doppelganger but also because her and I share almost the same thoughts and no one makes me laugh harder than her or Theda.

As much as I love getting all dressed up like a princess I'm keeping it a little casual tonight. I've slipped into a white cotton shirt collared with lace collar, with a fitting leather jacket thrown over the top, black skinny jeans, and black ankle boots. My moms my fashion idol, but also my dad is, so let's just say I take a bit of an adrogynus approach towards my moms style, and a feminine approach to my dad's. I've just left my hair down, the best thing about having wavy volumized hair, I don't need to style it...Just brush it. Theda comes out wearing a black maxi dress with a leather jacket and Ella wears a dark blue long sleeved smock dress with a collar, paired with my doc martens. She looks like a little 1970s love child. The drive to our parents one consisted of us shaking our bust out to 'creep' by TLC, and headbanging to Bohemian rhapsody and crying to Songbird by Aunt Christine.
