It was a Saturday night and Samantha decided to go out to the beach. Samantha arrived and went for a walk. The night was beautiful and she was feeling so sad. She was thinking of how much she would love to have someone to love her, someone to hold her when she was feeling down, someone who would treat her just the way she deserved. She was tired of falling for the wrong guy, she just wanted to be happy.

Samantha was sitting bare foot in the sand crying. Suddenly she heard a group of guys laughing. She got curious and looked to see who the guys were. She saw a group of three guys, but one got her attention. He was not just any guy, it was the man of her dreams. He was tall with blue eyes and brown hair and was wearing a white bottom up shirt and black skinny jeans. He had a perfect smile, like the ones that can take your breath away.

That was exactly what happened to her

That was exactly what happened to her. They noticed Samantha and stopped laughing. She looked away embarrassed. They noticed that she was there alone crying and decided to approach her to see if she was all right.

"Excuse me, are you all right?" One of the guys asked.

"Yes, I was just admiring the ocean." Samantha replied.

"Yes, it is beautiful. By the way my name is Carter." The guy with blue eyes said extending his hand to Samantha.

"Mine is Samantha, nice to meet you!" She said shaking his hand.

They just looked at each other eyes. They felt like they were in another world.

"Ahem. I am Lucas and this is Aiden." the guy in the blue shirt said snickering.

Samantha looked down and felt her cheeks burning

Samantha looked down and felt her cheeks burning. Carter hit Lucas on the head.

"Nice to meet you all." Samantha said, still embarrassed.

Lucas had notice how Carter was looking at Samantha. He hadn't see his best friend looking at a girl like that before. He knew that his friend was waiting for the right girl since he met him back in high school. If he could do something to help him, he would do it.

"Well I have to keep going. Would you give me a ride home Aiden?" Lucas asked trying to leave Samantha and Carter alone.

"Sure, Lucas." Aiden said catching Lucas intentions. "Nice to meet you Samantha. Bye, bro." Said Aiden to them.

"Bye guys!" Said Carter giving them a smile.

All this time Samantha was oblivious of all this. She was so embarrassed that they saw her crying plus she got lost in Carter eyes in front of his friends, she wanted to die. Carter was so happy that his friends left him alone with Samantha. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. He liked her blond hair in that messy pony tail that she had and her green eyes. He was so concerned because he saw her crying that he decided to invite her for a coffee and talk about it.

"So, why were you really crying?" Carter asked concern clear in his voice.

Samantha didn't know what to answer. Tell the truth or just lie like she always does?

"I am just sad." She said.

"I know we just met but, do you want to talk about it? Sometimes talking to a stranger helps." Carter asked.

Samantha was tired of being alone and not having friends. So, she decided to step it up and make a change.

"Sure, why not?" She answered with a smile.

"Great! Let's grab a coffee in my favorite café. It's not far from here." Carter said.

They went and to buy the coffee and came back and sat back in the sand were Samantha was before

They went and to buy the coffee and came back and sat back in the sand were Samantha was before. They spend all night talking and learning about each other. Samantha was so comfortable talking with Carter that she told him everything that she felt and didn't wanted the night to end. Carter was so grateful with Aiden and Lucas, because thanks to them he got to know Samantha. He was sure that what started, between them that night, was going to last forever because it was Love at First Wave.
