In one week Lily was leaving to London for 4 years. She packed all her stuff and was just taking care of the last details for her trip. She was a mess since the day she told Jace. Since then she hadn't talked to Jace and she was dying to. She decided to write a letter to him and make her sister deliver it to him.
Jace has been locked up in his bedroom since the day Lily told him she was leaving. He was waiting to get a call or a visit from her but that hadn't happened. Suddenly he heard a knock on his door it was Sandy, Lily's sister.
"Hey, loser!" Sandy said. "My sister send you this letter and told me to say 'Jace, I'm really sorry. Please read the letter.' So, here you go, enjoy." She said leaving.
Sandy knew they would end up together since the first day she saw Lily with Jace. It was so obvious to everyone around them. She just wanted her big sister to be happy. That's why she agreed to deliver the letter.
When Sandy left he rapidly tore the envelop apart and read the letter.
Dear J, It has been a week since we last spoken and I already miss you. You didn't let me explain why I choose London over our 6 years of friendship. So, here I go. When you told me to go to college with you and move to our own apartment I was thrilled about it. Then we got our acceptance letters to NYU and everything was coming along very good. I was so engrossed in the search of our apartment that I forgot that I applied to The Fine Arts College in London. When I got the acceptance letter I didn't knew what to do. I had to choose between you or London. Believe me, it was a though decision. After a week of thinking I decided that I was going to London and that you were going to be there for me. When I saw your reaction I was very sad. But, I accept your decision. You were, are and will be my best friend I will always love. Good bye! I love you so much you don't even know! Yours truly, Lily❤
Jace read the letter three times and he could not believe how selfish he has been. He was supposed to hug her and congratulate her because she got accepted in the college of her dreams but instead he just left her there crying alone. He knew he had to make it up to her.
He ran to his computer and went to The Fine Arts College in London website and found that the applications where open until the end of the month. He decided to apply to. While Lily study art he could study music. It was his hidden passion that no one knew, not even Lily. While he waited for an answer he started to prepare a big plan.
One week later, at the airport
Lily didn't hear anything from Jace and she was very sad about how they left things. She was in the airport with her parents and Sandy. She was waiting for his call. Suddenly she saw her parents and sister smiling at her. Then, she hears a guitar and turns around. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. It was Jace in one knee playing a guitar and singing.

It was the first time that Lily heard Jace sing. He has the voice of an angel, rough but soft at the same time. She didn't understand what was happening until she listened closely to the song Luckyby Jason Mraz .

"Lily I'm really sorry for the way I acted. I was just angry because I thought I have lost you in the moment I was going to make you mine. The truth is that I have loved you for a very long time. 3 years to be exact. Lily, I love you so fucking much that it hurt to know that you were going to leave me here in the States." Jace told Lily while she was crying. "I was planning to tell you this in a different way but destiny has his ways." He took Lily's hand and looked straight into her chocolate eyes. "Will you Lily Stuart, be my girlfriend while we attend college together in London?"
Lily didn't know what to say. Her dream was coming true. Her best friend and love of her life was asking her out. How he managed to get into the same college as her was a mystery to her, but she didn't care. She just wanted to hug him.
"Jace Carson, I love you too. From a long time ago." She said crying while Jace was still holding her hand. "Yes, of course I will be yours as long as you be mine forever."
And finally they kissed, like how they dreamed all those years ago.
