Love at First Coffee

It was Friday afternoon and Nina was sitting by the window in Savory and Sweet Cafe, Nina's favorite place in the whole world. She loved to go, order a coffee and sit by the window while she read a book. Today was no exception. Nina was in the middle of reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower she heard the door bell announcing that someone was entering the cafe. She looked to the door when she saw her crush and best friend: Parker Williams.

Nina met Parker in high school. He had transferred to her hometown on their last year of high school. She had talked to him a few times but they weren't close. When they graduated high school, she went to NYU with her best friend. She was eager to go to New York City and start a new adventure for the next few years of her life. She moved to an apartment close to campus with her best friend and roommate Elise.

She could never forget the day they arrived to their apartment.

Flashback:
Nina and Elise were in their apartment unpacking their stuff. They loved that the apartment was close to campus. While they were unpacking and settling in, Nina saw a familiar face it was Parker. She couldn't believe it. Parker saw Nina and smiled. He walked to their apartment.

"Nina? It's that you?" Parker asked.

"Yes. What are you doing here?" She answered while they hugged.

"I'm going to attend NYU." Parker answers. "And you?"

"I can't believe it!" Nina said. "We are here to attend NYU too."
