Chapter four

Thank god, this whole week Shawn hasn't talked to me at all and hey! It's finally Friday. As I walked into school Lydia came up to me, "hey I need to talk to you about something!" She said. "Yeah what's up?" I smiled. "I think..Shawn likes me" she whispered. "Wait really..?" I said, I'm not jealous, why don't I like this? I should be happy for her. Fuck I don't like him stop lauren.."yeah him and I have been talking this past week!" She said. "Oh cool" but when I said that, Shawn came up and wrapped his arm around her. "Oh hey Lauren, haven't see you in a while" he mumbled but I could hear him. "Hey" I walked over to my locker and grabbed my stuff and went to choir. Ugh I was already done with this day. At lunch I sat by myself cause well Lydia went off with Shawn and the boys. I started eating until someone sat down right next to me. I looked up to see, aw a cute boy. He had dirty blond hair and chocolate brown eyes. "Hi I'm Matt" he smiled holding his sandwich in his hand. "Hi I'm Lauren" I smiled back. We started to talk for a little bit. And I have to say he made me laugh a lot. We were still talking when I looked over to see Shawn staring at him and I. I rolled my eyes and continued talking to him. after school finally came and Friday was finally here! I went to my locker and grabbed all my stuff and put the rest away in it, "Lauren!" I heard turning around. "Oh hey Matt!" I smiled. "Hey so there's a party tonight and I was wondering if you wanted to go? Like just as friends or maybe a date?" He blushed looking down. "Aw sure, a date?" I smiled looking at him. "Of course! I'll pick you up at 6:30, it starts at 7! I'll see you then?" He looked up smiling the biggest smile I've ever seen. "Yeah cool!" I hugged him, as he kissed my cheek.
