Double-chocolate snack cake:
Ingredients
-3/4 cup all-purpose flour
-1/2 cup brown sugar
-2 tsp unsweetened baking cocoa
-1/2 tsp baking soda
-1/4 tsp salt
-1/2 cup water
-3 tsp canola oil
-1/2 tsp white vinegar
-1/4 tsp vanilla essence
-1/4 cup choco chips(optional)
Method;
Heat oven to 350degrees.Use 9 times 5 inch loaf pan.Mix all the ingredients together except the choco chips.Sprinkle the chips on the mixed ingredients and keep in the oven.
Bake it for 30 mins and insert a toothpick to see if its all done.Cool in a pan for 30 mins.Sprinkle with powdered sugar.Now its all ready to eat.
Vanilla cupcakes:
Ingredients
-110g of butter
-110g of caster sugar
-2eggs
-1 tsp vanilla essence
-110g self raising flour
-1-2 tsp milk
Icing part:
Ingredients
-icing sugar
-butter
Method;
Heat the oven at 180 degrees and line a 12 hole muffin tin with paper cases.
Cream the butter and sugar together in a bowl.Beat in the eggs a little at a time and stir in the essence.Add the rest of the materials and mix really well.
Bake for the 10-15 mins until golden brown.Let it cool down for 10 mins.
Now for the icing,beat the butter in a bowl.Then add HALF the icing sugar and mix until smooth.
Then add the remaining icing sugar with one tsp of milk.Add more milk if necessary, until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Spoon the icing into a piping bag with a star nozzle and pipe the icing using a spiralling motion onto the delicious cupcakes in a large swirl.
