*CH 7: My Secret Past I*

#*~READER'S POV~*#

We're in the front door of this restaurant somewhere in Kalm Town. We entered and to the table in the corner, the waiter came over us to take orders.

"(Y/n), what do you want to order?" Cloud called out. "(Y/n)" the waiter mumbled and looked at me suspiciously. She opened her mouth to speak but I cut her off. "I want (favorite food), (favorite drink), and (favorite dessert)" I ordered.

"What about you, mister?" she asked Cloud in a soft voice. "Just beef steak and coke"

The waiter went with our orders. I started to discussed to Cloud about my near death experience. I told him that I'm the princess of Lucis. He was shocked hearing this and calmly listened. I apologized for lying. I thought he was going to mad but he's kind enough to forgive me for lying to him. I told him about how I was trained years ago.

Here's my story.

~Flashback (Warning: Spoilers, watch the anime Brotherhood FFXV first!)~

We were inside the car, went towards the castle. "The fireflies were so pretty. Shoulda brought a bottle..." the little prince muttered, bored. Beside him was me, watching pictures of us on the camera I brought. I was bored too.

"Your father will be happy just to hear about your day, Prince Noctis. It's such a pity he couldn't make it today." the maid said, who was primarily in charge of taking care of us.

"He doesn't care" Noct replied. (A/n: I don't know the maid's name. It never showed in the anime Brotherhood Final Fantasy, if you watch this anime. We can just call her Syra, pronounce as 'Sai-ra').

Suddenly the blade plunged to the car in front of us and it exploded. I gasped in shock as I saw it. I looked at Noctis, he was shock as well, and terrified. The drivers stopped the cars. "Oh no!" Syra shocked as well and gripped Noct's shoulders. The smoke slowly I saw a snake-like tail, a giant woman with six arms with giant snake tail and with blue skin. "A daemon!?" the driver said. "What is it doing here!?" the guard beside him said. It's a daemon! A Marilith! "Syra, I'm scared." I said shakily in fear. I looks pale from shock and fear. The daemon roar, making shivers ran to my spine. (Marilith's picture below).

"Have they broken the Wall!?" the driver asked. The guard in the front seat looked at us in wide eyes.

"Protect the Prince and the Princess!" he ordered Syra before the blade stabbed them. The shards of the glass flew everywhere and we escaped and ran as fast as we could. "Stay calm, Princess. Don't panic!" Syra's voice showed panic and told me not to panic.

Syra's hands gripped our shoulders and helped us escape but the daemon saw us and slashed its blade, hit Syra's back and we fell. Her blood seeping from her wounds.

I fell on my knees, covered in Syra's blood. I was panic in terror. My heart beating fast, like it's gonna jumped out of my chest. I went to crawled towards Noctis but the Marilith's tail hit me, making me flew towards the cliff and I fell. I hit the ground hard.

I put my hand and pressed it against the sore forehead, I winced in pain. I then pressed my hand against my wound in the abdomen to stop the bleeding. I slowly pulled the shards of glass sticking in my wound.

The blood form a pool under me. The bleeding was slowing down but doesn't stop.

"Please, someone save me," I whispered in a raspy voice. I was scared, I don't want to die, not today, not yet. I then saw a red giant that breath fire. I was panicked and scared as it came closer. I back away but the tree behind me in my way. My vision was blurry and I was dizzy and soon fell unconscious.

I woke up by the sound of bird chirping and found myself in someone's room with stuff toys in the nightstand beside the bed. I pulled the cover and saw my bare stomach wrapped in bandage. My head were wrapped in bandage too.

The woman entered with a sweet smile on her face. She has a dark chocolate hair and brown eyes. (The Picture above) "I see you're awake, Princess" she said. "Where am I? Who are you?" I asked curiously. "No need to worry, Princess. You are safe now. I have no intention to hurt you. I'm Joanna. You are in my house, in Niflheim" she reassured me.

"Niflheim?" I repeated. "I want to go see Noctis" I ordered. "I'm afraid I cannot let you go until you're fully recovered." she said sternly. "But I want to see them." I whined. "No I said you canno-" I cut her off.

"NO! I want to see them again!" I screamed in anger as I punched the bed. 'Niflheim!? I must dreaming right?' I thought. She sighed and got out.

"Brats" she muttered.
