*CH 9: He Caught Me!*

   #*~READER'S POV~*#

We were enjoyed eating our breakfast and talking some random things. I learned that he lost his father, his mother was the only one taking care of him. He told me how he met Tifa, Zack, Dominique and his other friends and other stuff. I told him that my mother passed away after I was born. It was difficult life without a mother.

After the long talk, Cloud's hands reached my face. Before I could even react, I felt his fingertips wiped the side of my mouth. My heart fluttered, I thought he was going to kiss me. My cheeks were tinted in light pink. He chuckled. "You look cute when you blush" he smirked. "Um, thanks. But I can clean myself" I said shyly.

"How about we take a walk around this town" I suggested. He nodded in response. "I wanted to show you somewhere" he said in a soft voice.

The doorbell rang, signaling us more customers arrive. My eyes widen when I saw four familiar faces. "Shoot!" I cursed under my breath. "Cloud. They're here. That's Noctis!" his eyes widen too. Did they came to find me? They went to the counter to order food. We sneak behind they're back until we were out.

I sighed in relief when Cloud grabbed my wrist and pulled me along with him. He pulled me through the crowded area. My heartbeat speeds up because my hand were intertwined with his.

We arrived outside the town, there I found a bed of golden flowers. He let go of my hand and bent down and picked a flower. He stood up, he tucked my bangs that covered my face behind my ear and put the flower in it. I blushed and look away shyly.

"It's so beautiful here, Cloud. Thanks for bringing me here." I said with a smile.

This kind of flowers seems familiar, reminds me of something, someone but I can't remember. It's so cold out here. The sun hid behind the dark gray clouds. "Where's the sun?" I demand. "The sun seen zoned me~~" I whined. Cloud noticed this and chuckled. "Seen zoned?" he repeated. We stared in each other's eye. Then we bursted out laughing.

I liked him. I study his face then his ocean blue eyes. It's like I fall into them when I stared at it.

He went over the big tree and rest there. I walked over him.

"Tired?"

"Yeah I guess." he said tiredly. I sat next to him and yawned tiredly as I laid my head on his shoulder. I thought he would told me to move but instead he put his arm around me and pulled me closer.

"Rest well your Highness." he said before I fell asleep.

I woke up and rubbed my eyes tiredly as I yawn. I look at my side and saw Cloud in his sleeping form. 'Oh my Eos. He looks adorable!' I mentally slapped myself.

He slowly open his eyes and look at me. "What time now?" he asked.

"Well..." I said as I pulled my phone from my pocket. I look at the time and it's almost midday. "It's 11:34 am. We've been sleeping for 4 hours, I think." I said as he slowly get up. He offered his hand to help me stand up. I took it and get up.

"Better get going before they caught us." he remind me. "Oh yeah! Let's go!" I said and we went back to the inn.

When we got there, there they are! Noct and his pals! 'Shoot!' We were going to hide but it was too late.

"Hello (N/n)" I froze. I slowly whirled around and saw Noctis smirking at me. "H-h-hi N-Noctis" I stuttered in nervous. 'Great! He caught me'.
