Skylar's POV

Four days couldn't have gone any faster. Most of the time while Michael was away was consisted of hanging out with Calum. I never told Calum about Luke's and I little hangout on Friday. But I know i'll have to tell Michael and Calum. Which is a perfect moment, cause they both are over at my house since my mom isn't home for the day.

"How was your trip?" Calum asks he sits on the counter top in the kitchen, eating a slice of pizza.

"Ah, boring as fuck like usual." Michael says.

"Well, at least i had fun this weekend." Calum smiles mischievously.

"I know, you got to spend time with my best friend. I saw on your snapchat." Michael say's rolling his eyes.

"She's my best friend now." Calum says as he hops down from the counter and gives me a hug.

"Sure." Michael says, taking another slice of pizza.

"What if I told you guys something that might make you mad with me?" I ask them out of the blue.

"You better not be pregnant." "Or secretly married." "Did your wreck my car?" "A boyfriend?" "Your moving?" "You got drunk and your not even legal." They both take turns saying countless options of what i may have done wrong.

"NO, no, no, no for everything." I take a sip of my water as they stop talking. "So on Friday, I kinda went out for a few hours and hung out with Luke, the new kid from next door."

"What the fuck Sky!" Michael screams.

"I hate that boy, he almost killed me." Calum says.

"JESUS RELAX!" I yell. "He wanted to go out for a little, and I said sure. He told me stuff, I feel bad for him. We should just at least be friends with him. If not you guys, i will." I say.

"What stuff? That his puppy died? Bullshit not being friends with that dick." Michael throws away his plate as he sits down at the counter.

"Guys, if you knew his story you'd understand. He was peer pressured in high school, he went to counseling and moved to this area. He's still not a hundred percent better and back to normal."

"What's the peer pressure? Drinking beer?" Michael jokes.

"Seriously Michael. Stop making things a joke." I tell him. "Luke's a good kid with a bad temper. He was peer pressured into taking drugs, and if Luke wouldn't do it, they threaten him but he didn't really say. And from taking drugs at a young age, made him have mood swings and bad tempers. It's all in the heeling process to be better."

"Man i feel like a jerk now for yelling at the kid when he almost hit me." Calum says.

"Damn I didn't know that, makes sense now." Michael says.

"Maybe we should go over there and the four of us can go do something. We can even invite Ashton." Calum suggest.

We all get up and clean up the kitchen, cause if not mom would of been mad that her kitchen wasn't clean. We all head out across the street and knock on the Hemmings household. Liz answers the door. "Skylar, right?"

I shake my head yes. "These are my friends. Michael lives next door to me and Calum lives a few minutes away. We were all wondering if Luke was around?" I ask her.

"You know, this really means a lot. And I believe this will help Luke. He needs friends comfort to be better. I just can't stand his tempers from the drugs his peers made him do." Liz says quietly before she shouts for Luke. I look over to Michael as he just nods, knowing that he heard it from Liz he actually believed me.

Luke's at the door minutes later, he smiles at Michael and Calum, and then smiles at me even wider. "Hey guys. Skylar." He winks at me.

"We all were wondering if you wanted to go out?" I ask him.

He smiles warmly. "Sure, I'd love that." He steps out of the doorway, and we all head to Michael's car. Calum sitting in the front with Michael, and me and Luke in the backseat.

"Luke, that's Michael and Calum. Guys, this is Luke." I introduce them.

"Hey man." Calum says giving Luke a handshake.

Calum looks at me through the mirror before he greets Luke. "Well, where do you like to eat Luke?"

"Anywhere is fine." Luke says.

Michael begins to talk about random crap that I could honestly care less about, all my attention is being drawn to Luke. Up close, his scent is amazing, his blue eyes are brighter, his lip ring in his soft lips. Everything on Luke looks perfect. I think i'm falling for Luke, and I don't even care. Luke looks over at me before he smiles and winks.

Minutes later, Michael pulls into a Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot. We all get out and head into the half empty restaurant. We get seated right away at a booth. Michael pulling me into one side of the booth with him, leaving the other side to Calum and Luke. The waiter comes over seconds later, and we all just decide to order a big basket of hot and spicy wings.

"Your into music, aren't you? Playing guitar and singing?" I ask Luke.

"Yeah. It helps me relax and feel free from this world. Music is one of my passions." Luke says.

"I play guitar too, and sing somewhat, but i'm not really good at singing." Michael says.

"What about you? Any instruments?" Luke asks Calum.

"Nope. Just me and my love for Soccer." Calum smiles happily.

"Calum went to Brazil last summer to go play and train in soccer because he got picked to represent Australian soccer." I tell Luke.

"Sweet." Luke says.

"Well if you can excuse me, but I have to use the bathroom." I tell them as Michael gets out of the booth to let me go.

"I'll come to since I have to go." Luke says.

We both walk silently to the bathrooms that are in the back of the restaurant. Luke holds my hand back before I head into the ladies restroom. I spin around to face him, where he gives me a small smile. "Thank you, it means a lot to my mom that i'm in the process of getting better. And i'm just so glad i have this huge crush on this pretty girl." Luke says as he puts his lips on mine. I kiss back, and i feel like i'm in a whole other world.

His kiss sends me to Cloud 9. I've kissed a lot of boys in my life, but they all don't compare to this kiss. Every movement in the short kiss gets sweeter and sweeter. And maybe I have fully fallen for Luke a hundred percent. And I'm a hundred percent glad with this, and i'm fine with all of the risks i have to take.
