Harry’s mood seemed to pick up slightly as the rehearsal progressed, and before we knew it we were back at the hotel.

“Till tomorrow folks” Jack said as we all got out the car.

We chorused goodbye, and goodnight before entering the lobby of the hotel. I spotted Rob sat in the bar restaurant typing away of his laptop.

“I need to catch up with Rob so I’ll see you all tomorrow, please be on time” I said flashing them a smile.

“We will try” Liam said with a wink as he and his band mates headed for the lift.

Rob was quite happy with how the day had panned out. Press pick up was good, and positive, and Radio One were happy about the additional coverage around the event. We ran through the next day’s schedule and I clocked off for the night and retired to me room to freshen up before grabbing to food.

An hour later I sat on a comfy leather sofa in the bar area, accompanied by a smoked salmon bagel, a small alcoholic tipple and my phone. And I could relax.

I did the usual app rounds; Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Daily Mail, BBC News, bank account, phone bill. When they said ‘there’s an app for that’ they were absolutely right.

I was replying a friend’s message on Facebook when a familiar voice interrupted me.

“Hey” he said as he stood to my left, beanie on and hands in pocket. Signature Harry stance.

I gave him a smile, “Everything alright?”

“Yeah, but I’m roomless, mind if I join you?” he asked, looking slightly unsure of himself.

“Yeah sure” I said as I moved my legs off the sofa so he could take a seat.

“I’ll just get a drink, want another?” he said pointing at my near empty glass.

“Please”.

“Same as last night?”.

“Please” I said before he wandered over to the bar.

He returned and placed the drinks on the table before slumping in the seat next to me with a sigh.

“Thanks” I said as I leant forward and took a sip of my drink. I then returned to what I was doing before he arrived. He didn’t seem to mind, so we simply sat there in silence, doing our own thing. Normally sitting with a near stranger in silence would be uncomfortable, but it wasn’t with Harry. Before long our drinks were finished and the barman came over and offered us refills.

“Yeah please” I said looking toward Harry, who just nodded.

“Your room number Miss?” the bar man asked as he took our empties away.

“Three four three. Thank you”. I said before silence returned, and it was only broken when Harry thanked the bar man for the drinks.

I locked my phone and placed it on the table and gulped down the final bit of my drink. “It’s late, I need sleep” I said as I shuffled out of the warm nook that I have made in the sofa, and glancing at Harry.

“Yeah, guess I should do the same. Guess I’ll see you tomorrow” he said as he leant over the finish his beer.

“Yep, night” I said with a smile before I headed for the lift.

I reached my room in a few minutes and kicked off my boots the moment the door had closed behind me. I opened up my laptop and popped some music on; I had had quite enough silence today. I scrapped my hair back into a scruffy bun and replaced my jeans with my pyjama bottoms. I was millimetres away from removing my make-up when there was a light tap on the door.
