“Morning gorgeous” he said as I stretched and rubbed my eyes.

“Mmmm what time is it?” I asked as I opened my eyes to find him stood next to the bed holding a cup of tea.

“Just gone six” he said as her perched himself on the bed next to me.

“And you’re awake because?” I asked, confused.

“Just woke up so…you know, got up. Have to admit, it’s a first for me” he said with a thoughtful expression. “Anyhow, according to my trusty phone it’s like ten in LA so I’m going to ring Simon, explain everything. It’s better that way” he said as he handed me my tea.

“Don’t you think we should talk about what were going to…” I said but he silenced my by placing a finger over my mouth, something that was obviously a habit for him.

“Nope. The truth. Don’t need to talk about that…we already know it” he said before jumping up and making the call.

I distracted myself while he was on the phone, not wanting to hear the outcome as it would only make me apprehensious as I had a few hours before I could make my calls.

I was packing up my bathroom things when he poked his head round the door. “Do you want Simon to tell Sharon?” he asked as he held the phone away from his ear, “No it’s fine, I can do it. Thank him for the offer though” I said as I carried on with what I was doing.

“That would be great if you could, might be best coming from you anyway” he said once the phone was reunited with his ear. I shot him a questioning look, which was answered silently with a cheesy smile. “Yeah that would be great, thanks very much, we really appreciate it” he paused “Will do” he paused again “Saturday I believe” he paused again “Yeah she is” and again “I know, older wiser and all that” and again “Yep will do, cheers mate” and he hung up.

“Thought it would save you the hassle” he said as he wrapped his arms around me.

“Guess so, just hope she’s not annoyed that I’ve got Simon to do it. Is he doing it now?” I asked.

“I’d say so” he said looking at his watch.

“I’ll drop her an email later, explaining that you are very persuasive and forced me into allowing Simon to do it” I said with a smile.

I continued to get ready and pack up my things, while Harry went off to do the same, and my seven thirty we were Manchester bound with toast and croissants for company.
