Everything was good when I lived with Jason, not a lot of rules, no one to boss me around, I was no longer a servant, no one to pick on or bully me, no school, no parents, no curfew, nothing to hold me down. "If this is freedom," I thought to myself, "I don't ever want to go back." It was a chilly August morning, I had just finished eating breakfast. I was out walking around just taking in the view. I wondered what Jason was doing right now. "Probably sharpening his machete." I joked. It was quiet and still except for a breeze here and there. I started to hum to the tune of 'You Are My Sunshine'. That was the song that played in a music box that I found a couple days ago. I began to sing aloud, "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey. You'll never know dear how much I love you please don't take my sunshine away..." The song soothed me, I closed my eyes and sang some more. SNAP! A loud snap followed by some rustling bushes pulled my attention away from the song. "Jason?" I called out as I turned around to face him, but it wasn't the HIM I looking for...
