CHAPTER 11

When everyone was inside and settling in, I jumped down from the tree limb and snuck near the car. I had to get rid of their way of transportation. Under the car were a bunch of metal pipes and tubes that squiggled and crossed and miss matched in every direction. I pulled my knife from my belt and cut a tube which made some black liquidy stuff come out. I put my knife back and ran out of the camp before anyone spotted me. I ran straight for the cabin Jason and I were temporary staying in. As I drew nearer to the cabin, I slowed my pace not knowing if Jason had laid out any traps around. I only saw two so far, a bear trap and knife trap. I didn't know if he had rigged the door or not, so I had to be careful. I didn't want to open the door slowly, that's what a exploring teenager would do. But I didn't want to just bust the door in. I opened it quickly, but not suddenly. Nothing happened, it was quiet and still like always, but the light was off. The light was never off...
