I am just counting down the days till I graduate. Time has been flying by it's almost time. I grab a apple, some water and a bag of chips before walking out the house. Normally I'd ride with August to school but he had some business to handle so I'll just walk.
I take a deep breath in and let out. The sun is shining the wind is blowing but not too hard I pray I have a easy day today.
"Best friend !" I hear Mandi yell.
"Morning best friend " I say smiling.
"That glow on you , August must be laying the pipe down correct!" Mandi says laughing.
"Girl you're my best friend so I need to spill the tea" I say.
"Oh please do tell" She says sipping her imaginary tea.
"Like I see what you mean when you be acting all crazy about getting some , like he has turn me out" I say laughing.
"Girl you a little freak now huh!?" Mandi says wiggling her eyebrows.
"I am for him" I say smiling.
"Aw my best friend has became a woman ! Y'all getting married and shit soon" she says.
"I can really see myself getting married to him , I am in love with this man" I say.
"Aw Indyah! I ship y'all to the max shit forget Beyoncé and Jay-z being goals you two are goals" She says.
I laugh " Shut up girl you are a mess".
We arrive to school I see Taty making her way towards us. "Morning ladies" She says.
"Morning" I say dryly.
"Woke up on the wrong side of the bed Indyah?" She ask laughing.
"No im good , how you doing ?" I ask trying to be cordial.
"Good thanks girl , Mandi them shorts are cute" She says.
"Thanks I got them from forever 21" Mandi says.
"I'll be back ladies" She says walking into the restroom.
"She going to buy them and try to match you" I say laughing.
"Leave her alone" Mandi says laughing.
"I'm going to the restroom" I say.
I walk inside the restroom. I hear Indyah on the phone.
"He is like so fine" She says...... "Yes girl I could care less about that girl , I'll steal her man and she can watch me ride him if she'd like" She says laughing........ "Girl whatever I'm the good kind of crazy plus that nigga sells drugs so let him try me I'll be quick to you know" She says.
I finish using the restroom the wash my hands. Walking out the restroom I see Mandi at our locker.
"I think your friend wants my man" I say.
"Why?" Mandi ask.
"She was on the phone talking , talking about some dude who sells drugs and is fine... the way she looks at him makes me feel like she up to something" I say.
"Indyah stop she could be talking about any fine ass drug dealer there are ton of them around Miami" Mandi says.
"I'll beat her ass if she keep playing" I say.
"Chill best friend we'll see how she be acting" Mandi says.
I text August telling him I miss him. He relies quickly say he misses me too and he'll make up not being there in the morning tonight.
