Chapter 7

"Ugh" I manage to groan feeling pain all over my body. "She's up ! She's up ! Call the nurse" Someone yells. I struggle to open my eyes to see who's all here. I finally manage to open them and I see all eyes on me.

"Indyah can you hear me?" The nurse ask with a Jamaican accent. "Yes" I reply. "Alright love I'm going to give you some pain pills to ease that pain and once the doctor say you can eat I'll send a tray up for you" She says smiling at me.

"Okay thank you" I say making a effort to smile. Once the nurse gives me my medicine everyone swarms around me asking a ton of questions. "One at a time" I say.

"You okay Indy?" My sister ask.

"A little better now with the pain pills" I say.

"What the fuck happen? Who did this shit to you?" August ask.

"Some girl who said her cousin was your ex, and that I ruined the best thing that happen to them, I cried for someone to help but no one ever came" I say.

I can see the hurt in August eyes that quickly turn into anger. His jaw clenched and he balled up his fist. "Come here baby give me a kiss" I say. He does just that. "Calm down okay just stay here with me that'll make it all better".

"I'm going to beat that bitch ass on sight!" Mandi says.

"Calm down my little fire cracker" I say laughing. It hurts laugh as much as I my stomach start to tighten. I start to cough a little.

"I'm with Mandi on this... Look at you whoever did this to my baby sister is going to pay and that's it" Tika says.

"Tika chill I'm good guys, all I want is support and love that's it" I say trying to ease the tension in the room. It's like nobody is listening to the words in saying all they thinking about is revenge. "August... You sure you're done with that chick? You haven't seen her or fucked her since we started talking" I ask.

"Baby I stop messing around with her since that day I went into the store to get her that stuff... We has already been arguing so decided to dead that shit that night" He says with a genuine look on his face.

I let out a sigh. "Okay August I believe you and I just hope you're being honest".

"I swear on my uncle grave that I'm for real baby" He says holding my hand.

"Y'all hungry ?" Tika ask.

"Yes" I say pouting.

"I'll ask your nurse if you can eat" Mandi says.

"Thank you best friend" I say smiling. Those pain pills they gave me working magic I don't feel any of the pain I felt earlier.

"I had fun besides what happen to me, Tika I was prom Queen" I say.

"I heard little sis, congratulation boo!" She says smiling.

"I got pictures where my phone?" I ask August.

"Here you go" He hands the phone to Tika.

"Your nurse said yeah , what you want to eat?" Mandi says coming back into the room.

"I'd love some wings" I say with a big ass smile on my face.

"Mild , with extra buffalo sauce and fries blue cheese as your side" August says.

"You know me so well" I say laughing.

"I'll go with Mandi.. Be back honey" Tika says hugging me.

"Alright don't take too long" I say.

They leave out the room leaving August and I. "It's alright August I'm fine" I say.

"You had nothing to do with me and her not talking.. They should have never touch you" he says through clench jaw.

"They will get what coming to the baby karma is bitch... She'll probably be miserable for the rest of her little pathetic life".

"Alright everyone visitation hour is over only one person can stay with her" Gayle my nurse says.

"I got work who's staying with her?" Tika ask.

"I'm staying" August says.

"Alright... Call me if you need me Indy I'm one phone call away... August make sure she's good" Tika says.

"I got her don't worry about that" He says.

"Goodnight honey" Tika says hugging me.

"Night sis".

"Sleep tight best friend"Mandi says hugging me. "Don't fuck Aug in here wait till you get better" She whispers.

"Bye Mandi!" I say laughing.

Everyone leaves leaving me and August. I look over at him and smile. "Get up here" I say patting the spot next to me.

"Nah baby you need to be comfortable" He says.

"I am Aug , it's lonely up here I just want you to hold me that'll make this all better" I say.

He get up and join me on the hospital bed. I lay my head on his chest and throw my leg over him. He wraps his arm around me holding me tight. "Thank you for staying" I say.

"Of course baby , even if Tika wanted to stay I'd beg her to stay with you I don't want to leave ya side" He says.

I kiss his soft juicy lips; August kisses me back. The kiss gets more passionate as our tongues wrestle for dominance. August gentle picks me up and lays me on top of him without breaking the kiss. He grabs a handful of my ass causing me to gasp. I giggle in between our kiss.

We hear someone clear their throat causing em to get off him. We look up and it's nurse Gayle. "You two better be good in here" She says laughing.

"We are Gayle" I say laughing.

"I came to check your vitals, I'll leave you two alone soon" She says.

I hid my face embarrassed she walked into that. "No need to be all embarrassed see darling, you're young this the age for that" She says.

Nurse Gayle finish taking my vitals and giving me some pills for tonight then she exit the room.

"You my girl?" He ask.

"Hell yeah baby" I say smiling. I lay my head back on his chest and close my eyes. He starts running his hand through my hair causing me to get sleepy.

"Goodnight beautiful" He says.

"Goodnight baby" I say.
