When our crew got there they stayed for about an hour then left thinking that we were not going get the boat done in time to race even though we told them it would be fixed. So we don't have a crew for when we get to racing. We ended up walking into town to get breakfast. The walk was really long, about two miles up hill. It was a nice little family dinner with good food. When we got back my dad would ask around the yacht club if there was a sailing store or a machine shop near by. Someone ended up having a father who had a machine shop. He gave us a ride to there in his white convertible. The machine shop ended up being closed so we ended up looking through town for a store that could help us, but nothing. We came back and my dad called a guy from Erie to drill out the piece from the inside of the mast. So the rigger drilled the piece out. Later on in the day my dad went up there to look at things up there and while he was up there the boats that were racing started to come back. The boat that we were rafted off of came back and started yelling at us that we had to move the boat we he could have easily of rafted off of us. The guy was screaming that we had to move the boat now while my dad was still at the top of the mast. Eventually he found another spot and then he came over to us and by then my dad was on the ground. The guy then started yelling at us about how there was blood on his boat when he woke up in the morning. The blood was from when I injured my leg on the dock and I basically crawled over his boat to ours. So blood was from a child being injured and he screaming at us about a little bit of blood that comes off with a bucket of water. The guy never asked if I was fine, some people just don't know how to act like a decent human being. None the less for dinner we had some really good burgers.
