We woke up at about four thirty in the morning, yeah I was tired. We had a small breakfast in the club then started casting the lines off as everyone else was getting ready to start. Since we were not racing this race we got to watch the starts and look at the beautiful sun rise as boats were leaving the bay. The crossing from Erie to Port Dover is the longest and best out of all the races. It was a flat water day with medium winds.
