"We'll finally get to talk face to face without a screen in the way." I smiled back.
My name is Madelaine Weaver. I, like a lot of people, hang out with my best friend almost everyday. The only difference with my best friend is that when we hang out, it's a Skype call. His name is Calum Hood, who you've probably heard of from his band 5 Seconds of Summer.
I met him on Twitter before they were even famous. We've been close ever since. In three days, we finally get to meet in person. Their tour will be over and they're flying here to meet me and spend some time here before they have to go back home to Australia.
Little did we know how much would happen before that.
