When I woke up this morning, I almost had a heart attack. I had completely forgotten that Calum came up here last night.

Eventually, Calum woke up, but instead of getting up we just decided to lay there and talk.

"You look tired still." I said as Calum started to doze off again.

"I'm not." he said, sitting up straight again.

"Yes you-" I was interrupted by someone screaming.

Calum and I jumped up and ran downstairs to find a coffee covered Michael, a shocked Ashton, and guilty Luke.

*Ashton's POV*

Luke, Michael, and I had woken up kinda early so we all decided to hang out in the living room. Calum and Madelaine weren't up still, but Michael and Luke were entertaining themselves by playing fifa while I had made some coffee and watched.

"Are you kidding?" Luke yelled.

I looked up to see Luke giving Michael a death glare.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Someone," he said looking at Michael. "Obviously cheated!"

"No I didn't! I won fair and square." Michael said, crossing his arms.

"No you didn't!" Luke yelled.

"Guys! Shut up. Calum and Madelaine are probably still sleeping." I warned.

"Well then maybe Michael shouldn't cheat." Luke said.

"I didn't fucking cheat, dipshit. It's called having talent." Michael rolled his eyes.

Before I knew it, my coffee wasn't in my hand or even in the cup anymore. It was on Michael's face.

*Madelaine's POV*

"What the hell happened?" I asked, running over to Michael who was holding his face in pain.

"Luke threw my coffee in Michael's face." Ashton spilled.

I rolled my eyes and took Michael to the kitchen. I made him sit on one of the bar stools at the island while I got a cold wash cloth. I walked back over to him and started gently dabbing his face, which he flinched each time.

"Care to explain why Luke threw coffee at you?" I asked.

"We were playing fifa and he thought I cheated." he mumbled.

I didn't say anything knowing it was really over something that stupid.

"This is like the London show all over again." he whined.

"I don't think it's quite like that," I laughed a little. "It's just probably going to be sore. It was just hot coffee, not fire."

"Still hurts." he pouted.

"Well yeah, no one takes a cup of steaming coffee to the face and feels fine afterwards." I rolled my eyes.

"I hate Luke." he mumbled.

"No you don't." I said, walking to the cabinets.

I grabbed some ibuprofen and a water and handed it to him.

"Take this, it'll help." I said.

He took the medicine, but was still whining about the pain.

"Want me to kiss it better?" I teased.

He smiled and nodded.

I rolled my eyes and kissed his cheek.

"There, now it'll be better. I promise."

"It already feels better." he winked.

Before I could even reply, Calum walked in.

"Michael, just go lay down." he said, rolling his eyes.

"What's your problem?" Michael asked.

"Nothing, just go back out there or something." he replied.

Michael rolled his eyes and walked back to the living room.

"What was that about?" I asked.

"What?" he asked, playing dumb.

"Whatever that was." I said, pointing from where Michael was sitting to the doorway.

He shrugged. "Can we eat breakfast?"

"Sure..?" I said in more on a questioning way.

~

Later that day, Luke and Calum were playing fifa, which we made sure no hot beverages were around. Michael ended up feeling tired, so Ashton let him sleep in his bed.

Ashton and I were sitting aside, watching the boys play.

"What if Calum wins and he gets coffee thrown at him?" Ashton whispered.

"I heard that." Luke said.

"Well, I mean once a coffee thrower, always a coffee thrower." Ashton said.

"Calum would love it." Luke smirked.

"Um, no I wouldn't." Calum said.

"Madelaine would baby him and shit. He would love that." Luke said, making Calum quickly hit his arm.

"Shut up, Luke." Calum mumbled.

"Speaking of coffee to the face, I'm going to go check on Michael." I said standing up.

"He's a big boy, he can take care of himself." Calum rolled his eyes.

"That's debatable." I said.

I walked upstairs to where Michael was. He was laying while on his phone, probably on Twitter or something.

"How's your face?" I ask, plopping down next to him.

"Hot." he smirked.

"Put your phone down and let me look at it." I rolled my eyes.

"I was trying to be funny." he whined, putting his phone on his stomach.

"Haha, so funny." I said, looking at his face.

"Is it going to fall off?" he asked.

"Did it fall off when you got burnt in London?" I asked.

"No, felt like it though." he said.

"This was hot coffee. You'll be fine by tomorrow." I said.

"But it stings so bad." he whined.

"You can't take more medicine for another hour. We can try aloe if you want." I offered.

He shrugged.

"I'll just take that as a yes." I said, getting up.

When I put the aloe on Michael's face, he said he was going to try to sleep again. Probably because he wanted the hour to be over.

I went back downstairs where the guys were now all sitting on their phones.

"How's Michael?" Luke asked.

"Fine, he's whining that it stings. I wouldn't doubt that though." I said.

"I feel bad." he said, looking down.

"You could always go say you're sorry for almost burning his adorable face off." I suggested.

"I probably should." he said quietly, then got up and walked upstairs.

The rest of that day was pretty much watching movies. When Michael came back downstairs, he kept getting clingy to me since he was in pain and sat next to me. Calum kept giving Michael these glares and rolled his eyes. I couldn't really figure it out, but I tried to ignore it. The tension was definitely felt the whole day.
