Badges for days! (Chapter five of Team Quill.)

Hey guys! Do you like it so far? I have a favor to ask of you, can one of you make a cover for this book? It's gotta be Pokemon related. I understand that Evelyn hasn't caught anything in a while. I'll change that. This will sort of be Romantic among the Three.. Ty×Abigail, or Ty×Evelyn? We'll see..Hehe.. Anyway, This is not based off the shows, it theme is, but the gyms, and the Starter Pokemon arn't. And the Citys. Lmfao. What Pokemon will they catch next? :o we'll find out.

  "Guys come onnnn!" Evelyn whined, her arms crossed over her chest. Abigail let out a small huff, dragging her feet. Her Vulpix beside her, looked exhausted. Ty looked like a zombie, his Chikorita stumbling with every step.

  "We haven't rested all night.." Ty whined. His Chikorita, fell to the ground.

Abigail dropped her bag, and sunk down infront of the small  Pokemon. She gently patted its head. Her Vulpix brushed beside her, sitting down.

  "Evelyn, we need to rest for the day." Ty said, sitting next to Abigail. His eyes were worried for his Pokemon.

  "..Fine." Evelyn said, she shrugged off her backpack, and thumped down against a tree. Her Mudkip dashed over next to Chikorita, poking at her.

  Ty scooped his Chikorita up, cooing at her. Vulpix settled down, its tails wrapped neatly around him. Mudkip circled twice, before laying down.

  "Evelyn, we know you want to get to  Swift city eoon, but ts no use pushing ourself. Gotta catch 'em all, right?" Abigail said, jokingly. Evelyn smiled, and nodded.

  "I just wanted to see you beat the Bayleef, thats all." She said, yawning. Evelyn didn't speak again, she was already fast asleep. Abigail scooted over to Ty, and pressed herself against him.

   "Your Chikorita will be fine." She said softly. "Anyway. Can't we nickname our Pokemon?" She looked at him. Ty held back a chuckle.

  "Yeah. I was going to name her Leafy. 'Cause shes a grass type." He murmured. Chikorita was fast asleep.

  "Leafy is a great name." She giggled. "I guess I could name Vulpix..But I dunno what." Abigail glanced over at her Pokemon, smiling. "I think, Rift might be a good name for him." Abigail pressed her knees up to her chest. She looked at Evelyn, who was still asleep.

  "That name, sounds so boss." Ty laughed quietly. Abigail smiled. She rested her black and white Panda hat against her leg. Ty reached over, and grabbed it. Laughing, he put it on Abigail's head, tying the strings.

"So cute." He said in a weird voice. Abigail rolled her eyes, laying back, and putting her hands behind her head. She soon, fell asleep also.

She could hear rustling beside her. She blinked open her eyes, fumbling around for her glasses. Once she found them, she pushed them up on her nose, and sat up.

  "Abigail c'mon!" Evelyn and Ty were already up, there Pokemon in there arms. She stumbled to her feet, skirting a branch, she picked up her backpack and her Vulpix, Rift. Rift sat up on her sholder, balancing. She walked up to her friends, and they started walking along. Ty was fiddling around with his Pokedex, while Evelyn was on high-alert for any signs of Pokemon.

  "Evelyn--" Ty looked up, pointing at a bug Pokemon. "It's a Weedle!"

Evelyn quickly let go of her Mudkip,  and pointed at the Weedle. Abigail and Ty stood back to watch.

  "Mudkip, use Mud-slap!" The attack hit the Pokemon, and the Weedle used its String Shot attack.  "We got this, water gun!" The water splashed at the Weedle. Evelyn threw her empty Pokeball, catching the Weedle.

  "Yessssss!" She yelped, high-fiving Ty and Abigail. Evelyn scooped up Mudkip, and squeezed him. "We did it, buddy!" She squealed. Abigail laughed, scratching her neck.

  "Swift city is just up ahead. We got this, Vulpix." She said. They headed on again. They soon made it to Swift city. Waving to her friends, she promised to meet them at the Pokecenter at the other side of town. Her boots clicked on the stone as she ran along side Rift, to the gym.

  "Rowan, I challenge you!" Abigail said, clenching her fists. On the other side of the arena, stood an adult male. He sneered, and shrugged.

  "Prepare to be beaten. Bayleef, go!" He tossed the Pokeball into the middle, and the Bayleef flew out.

  "Vulpix, go!" Her Vulpix bounded out into the arena. She pushed her glasses up on her face, and fixed her hat on her head.

  "Bayleef, tackle!" Rowan shouted. The Bayleef lept, tackling her Vulpix.

"Use  Firespin!" Rift flamed out, flames hitting the Bayleef. Rowan flintched, and  raised his fist to his chest.

  "Bayleef, Magic leaf, now!" The shiny leaf beat at Rift.

"Vulpix, we got this. Ember!" The flames yet again hit Bayleef. Bayleef stumbled, before toppling to the ground.

  "Bayleef!..Return!" Rowan gasped, his Pokemon flying back into its Pokeball. Rift bounded back to Abigail, pressing against her leg. Rift looked tired, and weak.

  "Good battle." Abigail said. Rowan crossed the gym, his feet dragging. He handed her a purple badge, and congratulated her. She nodded, scooping up her Vulpix, and leaving the gym.
